"Anyway, I'm heading home. I kinda wanna just go to bed. But I need to have a shower too." She then said with a light sigh.

"You do smell of sweat." he chuckled.
"But those runs are really doing you good." he told her.
"You're pretty damn healthy and fit." he said.
"Regardless, you head on home." he went on.
"See you later." he finished with a small smile.

Sammy just waved before vanishing from where she stood, leaving Rene alone.
She appeared back home, in her bedroom, and sighed before making her way to the bathroom - making sure to grab a change of clothes on the way.
"Ok, shower, then I'll take one of thos, and then I'll let people know I'm home.." She said to the air quietly as she closed the bathroom door.
"Or maybe let people know after I have a shower, we'll see what happens." She then said as she began to strip. She also realized that there was a chance that by the time she was out of the shower, people would already know anyway, since they'd hear the water running, possibly.
Sure enough, shortly after she'd started her shower, Darrel had looked in the general direction of the bathroom she had gone to.
"Hm." he muttered.
"Guess she's back." he said.
He then finished, cleaning her phone, making sure it was spotless, and that no traces of blood or dirt or dust remained, before putting the solution away. He then threw the disposable cloth in the nearby garbage, and sighed.
"....Samantha's blood..." he mumbled.
"It was... divine." he said to himself.
"Hm." he muttered.
"Guess she's back." he said.

Sammy was in the shower for longer than her norm, but that wasn't too surprising. She needed a good soak, she figured. After she was done, she made her way back downstairs.
"Wonder where everyone is..." she wondered as she looked around, before sighing and grabbing a glass. She filled it with water and took a drink, popping one of the pills at the same time.
"I Really hope this helps..." she muttered.
As she popped her painkiller, she was greeted by her father.
"Welcome back." he said.
"I heard there was a bit of an... incident... with your brother." he commented.
"And that you were at Rene's." he went on.
"You all right?" he asked her.
"Welcome back." he said.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm all right." She told him.
"Had to get a couple stitches - literally just 2 - and Rene gave me something for the very likely migraine that is blossoming. " She added.
"So I'm thinkin' I'm going to go to bed, because ow."
"That makes sense." Lindsay replied.
"Two things." he said.
"One... we haven't dealt with your brother." he told her. "Odds are he's hiding in one of his usual places, so we're saving that for you to deal with personally." he continued.
"Secondly... after you're finished all that, we should talk." he said further.
"No trouble or anything, just... we ought to discuss something."

"All right. I'll go hunt him out." She stated.
"Then we can talk. Where can I find you after I locate Evan?" She asked.

"Oh." he then said, stopping at the door as he was leaving.

She made her way in and just sat on the bed,.
"Evan, come out." She stated, seeming to know he was in there.
"Seriously. Come out. I'm not mad at you." She told him "I just hope that this is something you can learn from."

But then she heard some scampering... some scuffling... and then Evan slowly emerged from under her bed.

"Sorry..." he apologized, guilt in his tone.

"I love you, you're my brother, but damn if you need to learn to clean your stuff up." She was trying to truncate this so as to be able to go talk to Lindsay. Hopefuly that wouldn't take long... since she'd said she wanted to go lie down... but he seemed ot have ignored that.
Which meant that whatever he had to say was likely extremely important.

"Are you okay?" he asked her.
Normally he would get a gelling out from her or their parents, but this was new. She was calm, and wasn't looking like she wanted to even the score.

Sammy let out a soft breath, quite relieved that something seemed ot have finally sunken in.
"Ok... now to just talk to Dad." She said quietly as she got to her feet. After a moment, she was able to head off to the room where she was told he'd be. It took a few seconds, strictly because of the pain in her head, combined with what she'd taken.
She sighed lightly, knowing that she'd be ok for the moment, since she was able to push through nigh on any pain, and made her way to her fathers office.
With a knock, she made her way in, since the door was open.
"Hey. You wanted to talk?" She asked.
Lindsay looked at her, and was silent for a moment.
He then lowered his head, and sighed loudly.
"Seems I under-communicated again." he said.
"I meant for you to come see me after you'd laid down for a while, and then dealt with your brother after that." he told her.
"For the love of..." he mumbled further.
"This is my fault. I apologize." he told her.
"In no way did I expect you to have this talk with me in the condition you are currently in." he explained.
"Do not feel we need to discuss this now." he said further.
"Please. If you want to go lay down and clear your head, go do so. This CAN wait, I assure you."
He then lowered his head, and sighed loudly.
