"It's... just the ... the role I play when in this form." She then said with a light sigh.

Jake shook his head.

"It's fine, I understand." he told her.

"And I mean it, it's fine. You have your reasons, though the roleplaying aspect intrigues me..." he then mumbled.

"But it's fine. It's just a stark contrast, is all." he added with a shrug, as Ty showed up.

"Yo." he said.

"Hey." Jake responded.

"Would you mind... er... escorting her to Sharp?" he asked, gesturing at Serenity.

"....uhh... sure thing." Ty responded, clearing a little on the confused side.

Serenity hadn't a chance to say anything before Ty arrived and the exchange there happened as well.

"Oh, hello." Serenity said with a smile, and a cordial bow.

"And yes, please. I was told to come and help him with something, although I am not entirely sure what." She admitted after a few seconds.

He then made his way over and picked Serenity up in his arms.

"See ya." he said to Jake.

"Later." Jake replied.

With that, Ty left with Serenity, and they made their way down the halls.

"....pardon me..." Ty then addressed her.

"I can't help but feel we've met before." he commented.

"Have we?" he asked.

Serenity nodded.

"Of course we have, Master Tyson." She said with a light laugh, and a knowing tone to her voice, probably catching him off guard at the same time ... as he'd not be introduced as Tyson at any point.

"Do you honestly believe that this doll is alive? It is just a shell for me to reside in when I'm on this plane."

"Ah..." Ty stammered, before shaking his head.

"That makes sense, Syraene." he said.

"Though, did I honestly think that the doll was alive? Yeah. I did." he admitted.

"We have an agent here that is essentially a living doll, so it wouldn't be TOO far off to think that it could literally happen." he explained.

"But this is a shell for you?" he asked.

"Fair, fair." he said with a nod.

"Didn't know such a thing was required, to be honest." he then admitted to her.

"Why this doll in specific?" he asked.

Serenity just laughed lightly, although it came out more like an innocent girls giggle.

"Why this doll? That... is a story that I'm certain we don't have the time for." She said. There was a darkness to her voice that he hadn't thought possible from this form.

"And it isn't necessary, before you question that." She continued, "It is just less of a strain on me and my soul since I like to stay here for extended periods, as I like to be."

"...." Ty was silent as he heard the darkness in her tone, before sighing.

"I understand." he said.

He then clammed up, not wanting to push it any further... and because they'd arrived at Sharp's office.

He was let inside, and Hal looked confused when he saw them.

"...Agent King?" he addressed Ty.

"Agent Sharp." Ty responded.

"She's here to see you." he added, setting Serenity down in one of the empty chairs.

He then excused himself, said farewell to Serenity, and left the three of them to discuss.

Terra merely chuckled as she saw the doll that Ty had brought in

"I would not be here nearly so quickly had I not been carried." Serenity then said as she stood up in the chair and bowed cordially to Sharp. She paused partway through though. After straightening up, she merely turned to face Terra.

". . . . . . The hell are you doing here? shouldn't you be in a forest or on a mountain or something?" She asked Terra bluntly. Terra just laughed, outright laughed.

"I usually am." She answered, "But I needed to find someone, and I'd learned this was a good place to start."

"Couldn't use Lady Remmington again?" Serenity asked, seeming to know exactly what it was that Terra was referring to - and probably confusing Hal as well. Terra just shook her head in response.

"Not at all. Cannot grant to the same being twice. It would... break them." As she said that, Serenity just sighed.

"I... shouldn't be surprised." the doll admitted.

"Now, I do believe you are here for a reason." Terra then said. Serenity nodded before turning to address Sharp.

"Hello again, Master Sharp." the doll said with a smile, and an extremely respectful tone to her voice.

"........" Hal was silent, seemingly dumbfounded.

"Right." he said.

"Hold on, hold on, hold on." he muttered.

"I have... SO many question right now, but I think I can simplify them all into "what the bloody HELL is going on!?"..." he then told them. "But let's break that down a little..." he then said, clearing his throat.

"Firstly, you two know each other?" he asked.

"Secondly, what are you two talking about?" he asked then further.

"Thirdly, we've met before?" he asked Serenity specifically.

"And lastly, WHO are you???" he then asked her further.

"I mean... I can sense the mana off of you, and I know what my senses are telling me, but... let's see if your answer confirms what I'm thinking." he then added.

Terra just laughed after Hal asked all his questions. Outright laughed.

Serenity, meanwhile, looked a bit stunned - well as much as her porcelain form could.

"Oh my... I thought Lady Kalin had told you. My apologies." The doll said after a couple seconds.

"You woudl know me as Syraene Encrae." She then said.

"And yes, I know Gaea." She continued. "Most elves do."

"as for what we are talking about, I imparted some of my Mana into the draydin boy, Lucas, when he and his family were here a bit ago." Terra then said.

".....Syraene!?" Hal exclaimed.

"That's... really you?" he asked.

"......so THAT'S what Kalin meant when she said your hands would be too small to answer the phone, yourself..." he then clued in, remembering what Kalin had said over the phone.

"...also, I believe I remember you telling me that about the draydin boy." he commented to Terra, before looking towards Serenity.

"Well, I have more questions about your current... form... but they can wait." he told her, before taking a deep breath, and explaining the situation on hand... about Chris, about what had happened, and about Terra.

"Do you think you can help Terra... Gaea... however she wishes to be referred?" he asked her.

"And is there anything you think you can do regarding Jenkins?"

Serenity listened intently to what Hal was saying, knowing that she needed to.

After he'd finished his explanation, she just sighed.

"Yes, I do believe I can help." She answered.

". . . where is he?" She then asked.

"I can take you right to him." Terra commented.

"Please. Now... why woudl you think I could help with Mother Earth?" Serenity then asked. Terra chuckled.

"Well, you deal with mental and emotional wellbeing, yes?" he asked.

"I'm sure Miss Terra is exhausted after all that." he went on.

"And while you are an elf, yes, you are also a member of The Order." he went on. "Which... I mean, I assume it would exist separate to the Earth." he then reasoned.

"I just thought you could use your other-realm abilities." he shrugged. "If nothing else, let her have a clarifying and rejuvenating nap." he finished.

"Regardless, I'll leave you be to deal with Jenkins."

Hal shook his head.

"I do not." he replied.

"As I said, I will leave you to Jenkins." he told Serenity.

"Thank you for showing up on such short notice." he then thanked her.

"And I wish you luck in dealing with him." he finished.

"Whatever the result, please let me know." he then added, before sighing quietly.

"...I hope he's willing to help." he mumbled.

"Otherwise, I have a strong feeling the world may very well be screwed."

Serenity just smiled softly.

"You'd be surprised." Was all she said before Terra approached, lifted the doll into her arms, and headed off with her.

It didn't take long before they reached the dorm, and Terra shook her head.

"He's in the bed that is through that door." She told the doll. Serenity nodded.

"Yeah, of course." She said.

"Just put me down and I will go speak with him." She then said. Terra nodded and did so.

"I'll be sitting out here, if you need me." Terra added. Serenity nodded before making her way into the room, not sure how she would find him.

When Serenity made her way into the room, she saw Chris on the bed.

He was laying on his back, and seemed to still be unconscious.

However, there were slight stirs from him every few seconds.

Odds were he was either just waking up, or he was having a rough time while unconscious... possibly nightmares.

Regardless, his expression was a bit on the stressed side, and she could see vague hints of deep sadness.

Serenity just sighed before approaching and laying her hands on the bed before hoisting herself up. She didn't say anything before kneeling next to him, by his torso, and laying a hand over his heart, and lightly on his forehead. She was completely silent as her mana started to form, swirl. It didn't take long before it was absorbing into him.

She had no idea what it was that would happen, whether it would wake him up, calm him down, or what.

And she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to know, either. She hated him, and that wasn't anything unknown, but she did believe he had the right to at least get his final words in, she supposed.

After about 30 seconds, Chris's expression softened, and he relaxed, before opening his eyes.

"...hm?" he mumbled.

"What the...?" he asked, looking at Serenity.

"Who...?" he started to ask her, before it seemed to come to him.

"Wait..." he muttered.

"Oh, I see." he then said, sighing heavily.

"I suppose it was only a matter of time, wasn't it?" he asked. "Though I admit, I didn't expect to see you in a form like THAT." he admitted.
