Oh we did. Big time. But my father died only five days before Christmas, and it's a holiday my family just let go.

Playing Animal Crossing, it got a new DLC recently and I finally bought it. So I'm trying to finish that stuff. Late this evening I'm going Christmas light viewing with a friend. So I can stay at her house, instead of her having to do two out of the way trips tomorrow.
... and then tomorrow, holidays with friends :3 It sounds like you have a nice couple of days planned! I'm glad.
I'm going to enjoy my two days off. Because I suspect not too long from now, I'll be getting moved up to full time hours.
You should enjoy your two days off regardless of what the future may bring, but you were kind of hinting that a promotion might be in the works for you... so this might be it, huh?
Well this might be the first step towards that. One of my coworkers has to greatly reduce their hours, because of college next semester.

They can have full time employees. It's just the store only gets allotted so many hours to give out, and because Goodwill does not like the idea of full time. Since then they have to give out benefits and stuff.
Yeah... that has been getting increasingly more common the last several years. :(

The last couple of years, though... they've been really tough for young adults to start their lives!!
It's been virtually impossible to do. But I also had to overcome my bipolar disorder, not safe to have a suicidal person living completely by themselves.
Yeah, that would be another "complication" to overcome. I'm glad you're at the point of being able to start looking at the possibility of getting out on your own. :3

You should be proud of your accomplishments. Everyone has issues to deal with, things to overcome. Not everyone does. You should definitely celebrate your success so far, and keep going! <3
