@sunny: a lizard? Was it a big lizard or a small lizard? I'm glad you caught it and got it back outside. It can definitely be weird seeing unexpected wildlife running around your house!! We have the little anoles running around here everywhere, but they're cute (not that I want them in the house). A little further south, they have the bigger lizards.

@Nova: Yes, I am a silly Christmas Egg XD
How are you doing?? Are you ready for the holidays?

@Purpsy: It probably depends on the kid/teen. Little kids are happy with new games and toys - they're usually easier to please. The bigger kids start wanting more specific (& usually more expensive) things. Or at least that has been my experience.

@Evilcupcakecat: Oh yeah, that is coming up very soon isn't it... like tomorrow! What does your family usually do to celebrate (if you don't mind my asking)?

@moodyb: maybe today will make up for yesterday's "nothing" day? I hope so, anyway, for your sake :3

And good morning everyone!
Sorry that I kind of disappeared yesterday - hubby was apparently in a "chill out" mood yesterday afternoon too and we ended up watching movies and... well, chilling out :3 We both needed it.

What is everyone's plans for today? I need to do some cooking and rearranging of the refrigerator, and I should put some thought in to what other things I'd like to do or have for Christmas day. Beyond that, I'm really hoping to get a chance to play with my tablet and maybe do some sketching.

@Wildfire: it was only a small one, an Italian wall lizard. He was happy to be back outside with his buddy.

My plans for today is to wrap my mum's final Christmas present - a tablet, but it's arrived in a really awkward shaped box for some reason :/

LOL... fun times, wrapping weird-shaped boxes! XD They can be quite the challenge. I guess you could always put it in a gift bag?

It's overcast and rainy here today and just cold enough that it's making me not feel like doing anything other than sitting under a blanket and watching more movies or something. Ugh.
