@Totalanimefan: it's so nice. I really enjoyed it. And then when everyone got back they all slept because they took dramamine for the motion sickness and it made them really tired.
@CooperationIsKey: I change mine up a lot because i have a lot of fun playing with items, and i think every time i get a new item i want to change it so the new item is included.
i'm doing ok, Just waiting on a lot of things to happen, such as my husband's cousin and her 4 kids to go back to nebraska next week so we can move his desk into the other room. And me starting my new job (could be up to 4 weeks they said before it starts, and that was on the 19th, so could be any time now. We'll see.)
@DreamerZ: right?! to me that sounds fantastic! I had a friend when i lived in idaho, that we would literally go over to each other's houses and within 20 minutes of us getting there, we'd be napping. It was great. Our mom's loved it because at least we weren't getting into trouble lol

@Totalanimefan: I do hear it’s expensive. How much is gas there? It’s ok Average 4.25 here and when I was in Vegas it was 5.35. Of course I didn’t need gas but it was shocking to see the dollar jump.
@sunny: yeah we were lucky sometimes if there are a lot of events that have passed and there is a lull then you can maybe find good prices apparently. I don’t know where to look, my sister did all of the booking. But she did a good job lol!
@xvz: yesssss I recently visited Las Vegas! Had some fun times and saw the mountains and stuff. It was great

how is your home?? i remembered last time i was active you had just moved :-) how did settling in go?
my head is mostly feeling better — i’m still a little sensitive to bright light, like if it’s really sunny out, and i get tired really easily … like i find socializing to wear me out, trying to follow a real time conversation and like processing information @@

My head is better now. Our sink/washing area at work is like partially under the stairs, so there’s a wall that slopes to the ground and I was kneeling to put something down and when I stood up I smacked my head into the sloped wall :’ )
I’ve not been up to much new. Just trying to take it easy till work picks up again in the fall.

@DreamerZ: yeah, it was pretty great. I don't have any friends in Florida that I'm like that with though, so I miss it.

@Totalanimefan: I got the job through welfare. I have been looking for other jobs. But most are still low paying jobs. Everything that pays well you need god knows how many years work experience.
I love discord. It's a fast and easy way to talk to people.

Also good morning y'all. I'll try to pop back in as I can. But today is payroll day 😩
@xvz: just 3 days. it was like a weekend get away during the week lol. we just walked around, shopped, ate good food. We gambled a little bit but mostly it was walking and hotel hopping. you can walk in and out of the hotels to gamble and/or shop.
The bigger hotels have retail shops inside.
@neon: i had ritz cheese cracker bites. i usually don't eat breakfast in the morning because i literally roll out of bed and only have time to brush and floss my teeth, shower, and dress myself before work.
we had the little bites at home so I grabbed the bag and ate them.
@Totalanimefan: i do hear good things about DC and public transport. i kinda want to maybe possibly live somewhere car free....but i love my car lol.
but riding the little bus that takes you down the strip in vegas was nice when it's too hot to walk. and i mean the strip is too long to walk period but people do all of the time.
