I just know things can go very wrong, even after they say it's okay. My whole childhood was hospitals for my dad. But this clot is most likely from an unhealthy lifestyle honestly. It could have killed her if she hadn't gone to the er yesterday.

Same. I was there til midnight and knew she was in her room, they didn't let me see her. But I stayed until I was sure she was okay.

I'm alright now that I've gotten to talk to her.

Yesterday my mom went to the emergency room, for pain in her legs. Turns out that she had a clot causing everything below the kidneys to not have any blood flow. Anyway she made it through surgery fine, so today I'll be going to visit her.

They are, which is why they don't get lumped in with my normal dislike.

No idea why, but I love fairy tale retellings. They're like a favorite premise of mine. Despite being a big hater of fanfiction. Which is more or less what the retellings are. Glorified fanfiction.

@Wildfire: I'm reading Cinderella is Dead. Which is a YA that reworks the Cinderella tale, by having it set after Prince Charming and Cinderella pass on. New tyrannical laws created from the Cinderella story. And is LGBT which is nice.

Right now I'm listening to an audiobook to knock a book off the to read list.

I leave for work at 10:45, lol to clock in at 1.

We'll see. Not sure what I want. Busy or dead, there's pros and cons to both.

Wonder if that'll keep people from wanting to buy books.

I'm just hoping that the rain holds off until I'm safely in the store.
