    Wildfire:
    -->> If you could change careers right this second, what would you do?

    Probably run a food truck. Or be a professor, who knows. I just don't really have an interest in anything anymore.
    --->> :
    What’s your favorite joke?

    Who was the tallest vampire in history?
    Count Everest.

    --->> :
    If you could be famous for something, what do you wish it would be?

    I don't really want to be famous for anything. If I didn't have a choice, I'd hope it would be something relating to making the world a better place.
    --->> :
    Have you ever seen a UFO?

    No. What a bizarre question.
    --->> :
    Are you doing anything for Halloween??

    Again, no.
    Hey, my father was a captain as well!

    I was never much of a fisherman myself. In fact, I had a weird knack for catching things that weren't quite fish which was entirely embarrassing when I was younger. I caught a crab (go ahead), a jellyfish (no idea how this was possible), and a sea monster (it was either a monkfish or a lingcod). I was so startled at that fish that I kicked it off my line back into the ocean and hoped it didn't invite a storm.

    8/10 one of the more terrifying moments in my life.

    That's just the nature of a leader. You are either surrounded by like-minded 'yes-men,' people who prefer not to make decisions, or those who want to take advantage of others. In politics, you have a lot of yes-men, and in cults it's a bit of a combination. For social communities and collections of friends, more often than not you can spot who the decision-maker is and who naturally turns the opinions of the group--even if only outwardly.

    Still, it's not easy to break away from something you've invested in so I hope you're better for it.
    It's a bit like being a Starship Captain, I'd imagine.

    Happy engagement.
    I've played about ten minutes of SIMS in my life. I was designing a character, my friend decided she had had enough, and so I just watched her the rest of the time. I'll admit I'm fond of anything with a customization aspect.
    Oh, is this some kind of 21 questions?
    @CooperationIsKey: I wouldn't mind studying in front of the firefighter school. //sinister eyebrow wiggle

    Marching band is very involved, as I understand it. I don't have the stamina for stuff like that so it's admirable that people can play an instrument AND walk around with it.

    I just never enjoyed working out or sports but I've played a lot of them and I usually only work out when a physician gives me the old 'u need 2 lose weight or else.' I have some equipment here at home that I don't mind, and the rower is great for just casually working out in front of the television; it's especially good because it's so quiet and light enough to maneuver around the house.

    If you happen to have a bicycle, there are mounts that you can purchase to use in the house. I did that for a little while in front of the tv which was nice. It was just set up in the living room and my roommate liked to use it because--as he put it--he gained weight ever since I had moved in. To be fair, we all did; I was in a constant state of cooking and eating.
    @Totalanimefan: Ahh, so lucky! I lived near the university gym so I would just walk a few blocks over. I'm lucky enough to be in a house now but there were some downsides to that as it's not as close to the things you'd find in an apartment setting.

    I wouldn't know what to do with weight machines anyway. My favorite machine was this rower, which helped quite a bit in building some strength, but I never feel good after a workout. I just hate it, haha. It was the same with sports, too. Hated them.
    Ohh, I've never done anything really involved in a gym before. I usually want to try the weights, but they're always occupied so I just spend an hour on the elliptical or the treadmill whenever I've gone (which is exceedingly rare because it's usually only when a friend wanted me to tag along). I did see that there was a gym nearby so that might be nice to join just to get out of the house. I have an elliptical I purchased while in school but it's kind of creaky and I hate this house.

    Hope everyone is doing well.
    @Totalanimefan: Oh yeah, that sounds exactly like what I'm running into. It's so weird that employers are enamored with this $17-an-hour number and then act bewildered in the same breath when their employees have no qualms about not showing up or not doing the work. My own partner chastised me for asking for "too much" and it honestly made me pretty angry that he would compare me to his employees and the expectations there.

    I'm not having any luck with unlicensed associate positions, so I thought I'd try for paralegals. I get that they pay much less, but I expected at least a livable wage. My friend is having trouble finding work, too, and one interviewer told her 'we chose a candidate with ten years of experience instead, k thx.' This was for a paralegal position. At this point, I'm applying for anything in earshot because firms want you to be in good standing (which I don't have yet). I even applied for immigration and family law positions. //makes a 'blech' sound. I am just sending out a resume to anything now.

    At least, though, you should be paid more than you made at your last job. Let's face it, the "benefits" of just about any company these days wouldn't warrant anything less.
    @Count Trashula: I'm pleased I got him just right. He was fun to draw and I'm glad I had the opportunity to draw a male in casual clothes.
