I was lucky with a few clients that had chickens so I would power feed them corn to have a hot new egg each morning. Duck eggs are too rich for me, but worth a try just to have one.
I feel like everyone in Oregon had chickens.

I realized this far I should have been drawing the actual Pokémon, not Pokémon accessories, haha…

This is just a soft announcement: I haven't forgotten about the commissions or abandoned the shop. I accidentally gave myself a minor chemical burn around my eyes (I'm fine, there's no harm it just looks like I stared into a pair of water jets) so I have been taking a break from the screen. I am also studying for an exam this week, and once I finish that, I will resume the WIPs.
Thank you for understanding, and for your patience.

My partner once regaled me with how noodles should be stored separately from "the gravy" to prevent that kind of homogenized mess that happens when you store them in the same container. It sounds like you made a good chili with noodles!
I made a beef stir-fry the other night that turned out really nicely. I got that pan rip-roaring hot to mimic a wok and then satueed some mushrooms, peppers, and a few mixed vegetables from a frozen bag (I think it was a mix of carrots, cauliflower, snap peas, squash). Tossed all of that into a bowl, then seared the beef, added the vegetables back and added in the sauce mix and gave it a good toss until everything was glossy. I watched a few videos about stir-fry and decided to try Kenji Lopez-Alt's technique for the beef. He roughly massages it with some cornstarch and baking soda (among other spices) to make it more tender. Granted, i don't have a control group but the beef was indeed tender and had a pleasant texture that grabbed the sauce.
I use a website called Foodgawker to find recipes. Or--to be more honest--I look at photos of food and then make that dish according to my own recipes. It's great just for ideas but there are a few recipes I do faithfully follow. Scones.
Well, if I'm being honest again, I follow the base and then use my own judgment for the fillings. So far, every scone has been a massive hit.

I love how it’s peeking out from behind a tree. For some reason, that tickles me greatly.

@Kent: Ahh, I forget about the areas where artists are commissioned or sell their art. It's always really exciting coming across an artist's work that you recognize. I bought a pair of art books; one was for the game, Ōkami, which I had never played and the other was for the animated film, Summer Wars.
I can definitely see where going with a group might bring less time to really peruse the things you want because you might not have the same interests but don't want to separate from the group. I'm a herd animal and don't want to be the separated little elk.

@cashew: I’ve added you to the queue! Is there anything in particular I should be mindful of?
@Count Trashula: I’ve added you to the queue! I haven’t quite decided on which one, yet, so if you have a leaning to one in particular, please let me know.
@Hadsvich: I’m afraid so! But it gives you some more time to think, yes? Ohhh, that’s a pretty item—I’ll remember to block out the spots when I finish this round.
I feel like they had an item with a big witch hat, but I also wonder if I didn’t just imagine it…sometimes searching for items here is a bit…//waffles her hand*edit—I found it. It’s an August 2021 crate item called “Greenskeeper.”

If you’re willing to sell them for volts, I would love to purchase from you:
The price guide suggests about 1,000 - 3,000 volts per item, but I understand you don’t put any stock into the guide. The most recent sales reported by users one* and two** years ago suggest the higher range of 2,500 - 3,000. If you have a price you would be happy with selling them at, please let me know.
- Year of the Rooster
Year of the Pig
Year of the Monkey
