				I forget that it's Christmas. I don't usually shop for anything or celebrate, and it's my partner who is more fond of it. I feel a bit guilty that I couldn't be bothered but I try to be enthusiastic about decorating a tree when they bring it down.
They're making lasagna for the day of, so I'm excited.

				I bought some chips this weekend. I just eat them while standing in front of the window, so I'm sure that's a sight.

				I planned ahead this season so I have a nice pair of sweaters that I wear when it's particularly cold out. I even bought a pair of joggers to lounge around the house in so I look the part, ha ha!

				Guhh, I couldn't imagine having to work three jobs at once. Just one full time with some side project obligations were enough for me. //holds up her hands in defense

				@Wildfire: ha ha!
I know, right? I was spending time in a more Southern area and it happens to rain a lot during the winter. I grew up in the north so just out of habit when I saw some reflection on the sidewalk I was bracing my body to slide on ice.

				ha ha ha!
Are we all using heating pads these days? I was just laying on one last night myself. I splurged and bought a new one and I'm quite fond of it! It has a timing function, and ten different heat levels--I've only been able to withstand a 6 or a 7; I can't imagine the magma of a 10. It's completely encased in a soft outside and it's still has a lot of movement when it's not heated. My last one was this incredibly cheap one that had a thin pillow-case like cover. On the plus side, you could wash the cover easily, but the downside was that the pad was inflexible, a single temperature, and had a tendency to unclip from power easily.
Ah, I also accidentally burned myself with the old one. I hadn't even realized until my partner saw me in the washroom with these lines across my back like I had laid down on a barbecue grate. It didn't hurt, I think I just caused some blistering on the surface like the blood vessels got too hot.

				The first time I was in a place like that with palm trees and beaches in the winter, it threw me for a loop. I had so much trouble adjusting!
Don't get me wrong, I don't miss shoveling, but I don't mind a little dusting of snow.

				I don't mind it too much. Not that I'd mind if the items were the typical red-green-and-white santa hats and candy canes, but it's kind of nice not to have those holiday items colored in such a tacky scheme.

				Maybe a kick in the ass wouldn't hurt, especially if it gets to the point where his behavior starts affecting your relationships negatively.
For December, I guess I'm just looking for new scenery.
