I just came back to all this pink o-o
My first Voltra event and I've probably missed half of it >>;

Yeah, I'm pulling WAY more hours than I was before, but at five days a week (since two are my class days).
I definitely don't mind it, but I hope I still get this many hours after my semester is over.
It's been tough balancing the workload with my class assignments. So many...final...projects OTL

@Bonnie: Just trying to power through all of my priorities so that I can FINALLY go into
real quarantine with all of my loose ends tied. Had I known all of this would happen, I probably
would have skipped this semester to save myself the added stress OTL

But how are you doing? Do you still work? My job is considered essential but customers come in
to buy only non-essentials, like flowers >>;

@bonnie: and then you continued to not see me for a while @-@
Sorry, everything has been going pretty crazy obviously. I got overwhelmed by it all and had to focus
on school and work (and Animal Crossing) for a while. But this semester is coming to an end,
so hopefully I'll be back here more often >>;

I disappeared from Voltra for a few weeks with all the chaos happening
But also Animal Crossing has absorbed any and all of my free time >>;

SO glad this egg event is ending today OTL I was getting so frustrated catching water eggs...

The people that bragged that they could survive a zombie apocalypse are gonna have a bad time.

What if you had the choice to choose between knowing when you die, or how you die?

@Priestess of Pie: Thank you! ;-;
It only took me... *does math*... twenty years to be pleased with it lmao

@MoodyBats: Everybody has their own system! I always get burnt out after the first drawing, so I guess
I kinda skip warmups more than I thought @-@

Is there anything specific you're working on at the moment?

@eerie: Loving your avatar >>

Weirdly, I think I heard more news about it when it was occurring in the east. Like, people were actually...y'know,
RESPONDING and treating it like it was a pandemic. The US has been sooo slow to react, and now we're all
gonna be so unprepared. I suppose the view of the chaos depends on where you're at. Maybe I have just
been avoiding the news lately more than I was before. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, hope you're doing okay! That's a long time to be out of work.

Distance learning was about as chaotic as I expected it to be.
During my BIO lecture video call, a classmate stood up and started making a grilled cheese in the background.
I hadn't even noticed he was sitting in his kitchen before that. One person was in bed with someone which was
STRANGE and a LITTLE unprofessional. One of my friends was sending me pictures the whole time of him and
his girlfriend playing Yahtzee just out of frame of the videos, and drinking from literal coconuts with straws.

It was a lot.

Aww, what a character! I miss having my own budgie, but she was sooo shy and sweet.
I can't imagine her flying-kicking my head. The most attitude she would get is if I was talking with someone around her. She would join in with super loud ACK-ACK-ACK-ACK until we stopped to look at her. Then she'd go completely quiet again lmao

My old rescue lab is the pet with attitude. He huffs and gruffs when he wants something, even if it's just for you to look at him. If I'm standing and not petting him, he rams his head into my hand, and if that doesn't work, he looks at me and flaps his chops.

It sounds like he's so close to saying real words, but then he gets frustrated and barks too loud.

@kaichoukai: Gross. My distance learning classes start tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it.

I can't imagine how hard it is for the teachers to try and cater their learning plan to a completely different form @-@

@Aisukohi: I really recommend it! I got the Surface Pro 7 in Platinum with 4GB of memory.
It's way cheaper than any color (you can throw a case on it, anyway) and much cheaper than the 8GB.
I use my desktop computer for storage, so memory wasn't a factor for me. $660 is way better than $1,000+

@kaichoukai: I can't imagine spending that much on a backpack, but I totally see the practicality.
Do you have a picture of it? The color sounds really cute.

@MoodyBats: I feel you. I usually do a warmup to get in the mood for drawing, or see whether my hands are going
to cooperate with me that night before I bother starting a stream. But sometimes I do the warmup, pat myself on
the back and say WELP, that was enough. And then don't get any work done.

@MoodyBats: You can do it! I'm gonna try to settle into bed and use this new tablet to get some work
on my commissions done. Maybe I'll doodle a little first to get the hang of it.

Do you ever do art warmups?
