I'm always the funny person in my group of friends.
I always strive to be the funny person when in a new place, making new friends, being in any situation.
And I've been told many, many times that I am funny! And nothing on earth makes me feel more validated.
Not being told I'm pretty, or smart, or kind. I love being funny. I love making people laugh.
If I were any better at story-telling, I'd love to be a comedian. But my jokes are kind of dependent
on timing and hitting a conversation with a one-liner. I think that's the best I can do lmao

@Lina: I didn't even realize that was a thread.
I might have to poke around there sometime. I think I've got ideas for things I'd wanna see >:3c

@Lina: Oh wow, I love both of those ;-;
Did you just draw them and stick them in a thread, and they were seen?
Or was it like an event where you submit ideas?

@Bonnie: I think I just go nuts when I have nowhere to go and nothing to do @-@
It's like I'm just letting the days pass until something happens.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better. At this rate, I think I actually prefer being overwhelmed with work and school lmao

I think about it often enough, too.
Like, sometimes I get really antsy when I want to post, but no one else is really active at the moment?
And then I try to decide if it's because I'm really in that much of a hurry to get Volts. But that doesn't make sense.
And then I realize I've been on vacation for days, with little to no outside communication, and I'm really
just desperate for some conversation, even if it's short and no more than "hi how are you?"
I dip out of conversations sometimes because I don't know what else to say,
but it's nice to know that there are people out there, wherever they are, that take the time to say hello to you.

I actually made a few good friends from avatar sites that I still talk to, years later,
on different platforms. I think you'll always meet people that mostly post for the fun of posting and
the Volts, and out of it you might make a few friends that become more than people you spam forums with.

I think a lot of people start off that way on avatar sites.
But then you really get to know the people that also post a lot with you,
and then you see them on a nearly daily basis, know them by their handles, learn their birthdays,
their interests, what's going on in their lives. And even if you still only post for the loots,
you're part of a community of people that you know, that know you too.

@inatlaka: Plot twist: They were all undercover to catch a predator lmao
At least, we can hope so ;-;

@inatlaka: I really like this card game called Red Flag!
Each round, one person is the "single", and everyone else has to use two out of four cards to design the perfect date for them.
But, each person also has one of two red flags played on their date, making them a horrible person.
The single has to choose one of the dates, despite their horrible red flag, and the person that set up that date wins the round.
So, like, an example of one of the dates could be that they're a millionaire that donates to your favorite charity.
BUT, they also kick every animal they see.
It gets pretty heated lmao

Posted in Does Your House Make Any Noises?

I love coming back and reading this thread ♥-♥
Thank you all for all of your spooky (and mildly vexed) additions.
I think the scariest EXPLAINED noise I ever heard was back at my old house that I grew up in.
We lived in a small, six-house cul-de-sack waaay in the middle of nowhere. We had a gas station up on the corner,
but you still had to drive a good twenty minutes to get anywhere near our town. We were surrounded by woods, all except
for a big field that sat immediately to the right of my house, just past an empty lot of field and a line of trees, almost like for privacy.
One night that I distinctly remember was within the first few weeks that we moved in. I was sitting in my room, watching TV and playing
my Gameboy. My room was the furthest right of the house, the closest to that big field. It was probably a little past midnight when I
heard the most spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream I have ever heard from a woman. I really thought someone was just beyond the
field getting murdered. I went and woke my parents, but the screaming stopped by the time I had the courage to get out of bed,
and they didn't hear it again that night.
It wasn't until me and the only other two kids in the neighborhood were messing around in the strip of "privacy" forest that I saw
a fox for the first time. And then learned what their call sounds like. It became another country-living sound, and I got used to it.
But I never forgot that first time I heard it @-@

But your Olive Garden breadsticks?! Oh, the humanity
