@Anarchist Beauty: UGH, YES, miscommunication as a plot is such a peeve of mine.
Just talk to each other! That and like, two people trying to find each other and all they have to do is turn around
but they just keep BARELY missing each other! Shows make me so NNNGH-

I get sooo uncomfortable with sexy time scenes. Like I have to leave the room. And if someone else is watching the
show with me? I just like...won't talk to them again lmao I don't know WHY I am that way but I am.
And I can hardly ever find a show that doesn't sneak it in somewhere.
Probably why I like kids cartoons so much.

@vengeance: I had to move back in with my dad and his wife a few years ago, but tbh...their cooking is...
pretty bland <<; like they have never seen a spice or seasoning in their lives.
Of what little I can cook, I'm pretty confident in them. I get a lot of compliments for my meatballs lmao

I don't have a kitchen of my own though, so I really don't do it as often as I'd like .-.

@Anarchist Beauty: I need to get into watching shows. Right now, I kind of watch the same videos on YouTube over
and over
and over again.

It's hard to find shows I like because romance isn't interesting to me, drama makes me BIG anxious, and I don't like...INTIMATE scenes.
I love suspense and thrillers, and Stranger Things hit that trifecta of nostalgic child adventure, horror, and 80's sci-fi.
But then they had to make the children start DATING each other D:< WHY

@vengeance: That sounds good. I must have sensed it, because I craved soup shortly after.
I just have ramen though >> gonna try a new brand and see how it is.

Trying to eat healthier is hard. I've only just recently gotten into cooking, so I'm still lacking in the recipe department.
The only healthy thing I know how to make is a salad, and I'm getting tired of eating leaves.

Do you cook much?

@Anarchist Beauty: Oh god, there's that many seasons? D8 how many more ideas can they have?!
When I was younger I would want a show or game to go on FOREVER. Now that I'm older I'm like just...stop after the first season.
Let it die with it's dignity (*cough* Stranger Things *cough*)

@Bonnie: I had to disappear for a while to get food and do some more cleaning. Still around?

@vengeance: Welcome back! How was dinner? I had to go get myself a sandwich after you mentioned food.

@Anarchist Beauty: That's EXACTLY how my best friend is. She gets so invested in the lives of the characters, it's like she's really going through it.
I think it's endearing, and if she's in a bad mood I just ask her how her current show obsession is going and it cheers her up for a while.
I just can't get very invested in them myself. She-ra is one of the few that messes with my emotions lmao

I don't have much experience with pixel, but I am an artist! I think I could make something, if I had the time.
It would be nice to make some new facial features and put them out there to see what happens.
Maybe if I get more comfortable and settled into the community, I'll give it a shot.

@Count Trashula: Yeah, between work, school, and maintaining a social life, I wish I had more time for exercise.
Maybe once a week I'll go out to a trail in the woods and enjoy some nature, alone-time, and exercise in one.
But it would be nice to be able to make more time for it. Maybe I can master homework and running at the same time.

@Priestess of Pie: If I have work or school in a day, I'm less likely to do ANYTHING else that day.
Activity energy has been spent. Wait to recharge.

@kaichoukai: That's how I feel about school. I'm sitting on a two paragraph report proposal that I know will only take me an hour,
MAYBE, but I'm putting it off when it's due tonight. I will do anything to fill my time other than what I'm supposed to be doing.
But I'll be productive about it? Like instead of doing classwork I should be doing, I'm cleaning at least...
@Priestess of Pie: Oh my goodness...Tumbleweed is a prince...I love him...
But Mallow is extremely relatable to me. Big Empty-Head solidarity.
They're lucky to have such a doting slave caretaker!

My babies are sweet. Sadie is a total snuggle bug even though she's way too big for it, and Toby is an old
grouchy man but he makes me feel safe when I'm home alone. He's very gentle to me. AND NEEDY.

We don't deserve pets

@Anarchist Beauty: Naaah, I watched the first couple of episodes to appease my TV obsessed best friend.
There's very few TV shows I get into. I was OBSESSED with the first season of Stranger Things, and then hated everything after lmao
I'm only subscribed to Netflix for the She-ra reboot...tbh...
I dunno, I guess it's hard for me to find shows that have all the things I like, without the things I don't (unnecessary romance plot).

YEAH I wasn't gonna say it but trying to find eyes and a nose that lined up on the base in a way I liked was...difficult.
Do they ever do, like, voltie submitted item ideas? Maybe we could make some new faces lmao

@Anarchist Beauty: I know just enough about Supernatural from my best friend to understand what you mean lmao
I can see it.

Oh, that's really helpful! I need to start a thread for keeping track and organizing what things I want.
I was hesitating to make one or ask for anything from charities until I knew I was going to stay here.
But Voltra was the first thing I opened up when I woke up this morning, so I think I'll stick around

@vengeance: Thanks for keeping me company! Enjoy your meal~
Posted in Animal Crossing Posted 5 years ago
I love Animal Crossing. I first started playing when I was a little kid, back when the Gamecube was my first console.
I played it for hours on end, so much so that my dad will still ask about it twenty years later.
I used to sit in the living room and play it, so he would often sit on the couch with me and watch.
He loved the villagers and the way they talked, lmao
I'm so excited for New Horizons! It feels like it's been decades since the last Animal Crossing.
I'm excited to show my dad. He likes to see how my childhood games have grown with me.

I think my favorite part about it when I was a kid was that it was something to check on every day. Like having a pet!
Now, that makes me kind of anxious. I work part-time and go to school, so I'm worried I'll feel guilty if I leave it alone too long.

@Anarchist Beauty: Thank you!
What a cute avi and theme ♥-♥ I really gotta start looking at what items I want to get here
