"Of course." Kaneko replied quietly. If just holding him was enough to make him relax, she would do that and anything else. They only had each other now, they were alone together.

Her dark eyes locked onto Allen's milky white ones. They were so lovely, she could stare at them for hours. However, she understood why they were always covered up. People would never understand. They would point, make some rude comment, snicker, stare. Even though Allen could not see such acts, Kaneko was sure he was still aware they were being committed. "Okay Allen. I believe you." Kaneko answered quietly. She wished there was something she could do for him, but getting him away from all this was about all she could really do. "Try not to worry about it. Tomorrow we will get you some clothes and then we can leave this place behind. We'll go somewhere that both you and I will be safe from any harm."

At least, that was what she hoped. With a warm and friendly smile, Kaneko lightly brushed some hair away from his eyes. "Would you like me to bandage up your eyes before we get some sleep? Actually come on, let's get you settled in first." Taking the bag with his things in one hand, she took hold of his hand in her free hand and slowly started making her way to her room where he would spend the night.

The stove clicked off and Clint walked out into view. He used to talk to her? He didn't remember that, but if it was elementary school then it was no wonder he forgot. That was so many years ago. He was impressed that she had managed to remember though. "Elementary school..that was such a long time ago. I'm surprised you can remember so far back. Now you're here and you're asking for my help. Last time I tried helping you I was told to back off and to stop worrying about you. Yet now I'm hearing the total opposite." His arms were crossed across his chest, a concerned look on his face. Why the sudden change? What was she hiding from? Who was she running from.

Getting close to her, Clint knelt down in front of her and looked at her face carefully. He watched as she held her head and shivered. "Cold?" He asked, reaching out and wrapping the blanket close around her. "Let's see.." Reaching out, his hand rested on her forehead for a split second before he pulled it away. "Fever.." Clint said quietly and stood then left to the kitchen and returned with a wet rag which he folded and placed on her forehead. "Lie down. You need to rest."

Rain continued to fall and bounce off his hat as they neared the next town. When he heard her, he smirked and waved a hand dismissively. "I am grabbing some food and a drink. Lord knows I need one now. But yes you uhh...go and do what you have to do." James said to her and started making his way to the nearest tavern. He would head to the inn afterwards. The town was bustling with people but they all looked at the pair cautiously, making sure to stay away from the man with the shotgun.
