Tyson just nodded, and stepped into the office.

"Sure thing." he replied.

"And you want to know who's here and who isn't?" he asked.

"Well, Agent Miki Vierayen isn't in the building, as she's taken some personal mental health days recently." he told her.

"And I think Agent Anya Averina is away on assignment, so she won't be here in the building, either..." he went on, thinking about it.

"Beyond that, I'll sort through the files and let you know more as I remember it."

Ty nodded in response.

"Well, I already found two." he told her.

"Our resident banshee, Sierra, had collapsed in her dorm, and I managed to get her to the medical wing." he said.

"The other is our own vulpine young lady, Peyton. Seems she was up in one of the records rooms when this started, and a cabinet ended up falling on her, almost crushing her." he reported.

"But I found her thanks to a text from her, and she's in the medical wing as well." he continued.

"Frankly, hearing that you've already gone through the building is a massive relief, but I feel that I should at least give it a once-over still." he then said, before pausing.

"...if nothing else, so I feel somewhat useful during this crisis." he admitted candidly, scratching the back of his head.

Ryker just smiled a little, and sighed quietly.

"Indeed." he replied with.

"At any rate, I'll do what I can to get a pond out back, and a nice big one, at that." he told him.

"Though it may need to be drained in the winter, depending on a variety of factors." he added.

"Should have more details by the end of the week."

"....my apologies." Tyson replied.

"I... didn't even realise I'd made my way here until I was here." he admitted.

"I guess I just wanted to knock on the door and have Hal answer it like nothing was wrong..." he then said further, wistfulness and melancholy to his tone.

"If you're busy, I can... leave you be." he told her.

"I'm just going through the building to try and find people that might not have made it to the medical wing, and can still be helped." he then explained further.

"See ya, Mira." Ty responded before she headed off.

"....." he was then silent, before sighing.

He then started to make his way through the building, but absently ended up making his way to the receptionist's area right before Hal's office.

"Hm." he mumbled.

He then made his way to the door paused for a moment, and then knocked on it.

"...anyone in there?" he asked, taking a few steps back.

"Makes sense." Tyson replied.

"When you're allowed to see Peyton again, if you ask her why she was in records, and she responds, let me know what she says." he told her.

"For all we know, she was following up a lead that's related to this." he reasoned.

"And if so, it may be a major piece of the puzzle."

"..........." again, Ty was silent.

"That... that is a very good question." he told her.

"One of us needs to ask her that when she can be seen." he reasoned.

"And any help scouring this building would be greatly appreciated." he then said further.

"This IS a large place..." he agreed.

"Indeed." Ty responded.

"I got to her in time." he said.

He then told her why she had been unable to contact them, and how she finally DID manage to contact him for help.

"So she's quite capable, people often forget that." he went on.

"You can see her in a bit, but ONLY if you're calm." he told her further.

"That was essentially stressed to me."

Ryker scratched at his chin again, and nodded.

"Fair enough." he said.

"I'll see what I can do." he told him.

"And cake?" he asked.

"I'm ALWAYS ready for cake." he said further with a small smirk.

"My sweet tooth has really developed nicely since meeting you." he chuckled.

"......I don't know." Tyson said.

"I don't know how to fix this situation." he admitted.

"All I know is that there might be more people in this building that need help, and can't get it. So I've been combing the building to look for any potential unattended victims." he told her.

"Peyton was one, and Sierra was another." he continued.

"As for what's causing this situation, and a possible fix, we have that tech guy, Leo, working with the new girl, Violet, to try and solve this."

Tyson was silent, and nodded.

"Yeah." he said.

"She's suffering from the mana drain, though." he told her.

"That caused an accident, and a cabinet in records fell on her." he went on.

"But she will be FINE." he assured her.

"Well... as far as that accident is concerned." he clarified.

"The mana drain? Well, that needs to be taken care of, or we're ALL in shit." he mumbled.

Tyson just sighed in response.

"Right." he said.

He then made his way to the entrance to the Medical Wing, and leaned against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest.

"....and now... we wait." he muttered.

He knew a panicked and irritated Mira would be approaching, and he needed to stop her.

"......got it." Ty responded.

He then carefully lifted her up in his arms, before they both disappeared from where they were, appearing in the designated area the pendant directed them to.

Once they were there, Ty saw the same one that had given him the pendant.

"Here." he said.

"She's suffering from the mana drain, but the more immediate issue is that a cabinet fell on her, and almost crushed her to death." he told them.

"She needs treatment for that, STAT."

"......wow." Ty muttered.

"That's... pretty ingenious and ingenuitive of you." he told her.

He then sighed, and put his weight into it, pushing the cabinet that had fallen on her... off. Once he did so, he looked at her and shook his head.

"I'm going to have to tell Mira about this." he said.

"But I'm going to get you to the Medical Wing first." he went on, brandishing what he'd been given.

"This'll take us there directly. You up for the quick trip?" he asked.
