"....I know." Vincent said.

"It's still frustrating as all get-out." he told her.

About a minute later, Ash and Alice came into the room, and Ash sighed.

"Hey." he said to Hollie.

"Please tell me you can help Alice." he said further.

"I feel helpless and I hate it." he then muttered.

The one that walked in was Vincent, and he still looked very concerned.

"Well... she's awake." he said.

"She and Ash are making their way down here now." he told her.

"....she's still not looking good, Hollie." he admitted.

"And I'm worried sick about her. And Victoria." he went on.

"...damn it." he then cursed quietly and desperately, as he sat down and hung his head.

"All right." Vincent responded.

"See you later." he said, before they ended their call.

About 7 hours later, Alice started to stir, Ash informed Vincent of this, and Vincent texted his sister.

Alice is stirring. was all it said.

We're still at the Fyrane manor. the next one read.

Vincent just sighed.

"I... I know." he replied.

"We'll try and ask for more information after Alice wakes up." he told her.

"Regardless, sorry to have called again so soon, but I figured you would have wanted to know about this." he reasoned.

"I'll text you when she's awake, or waking up."

Hollie had expected Alice to be out cold for about 7 hours or so... however, after about an hour, she received another call from her brother. Confused, she answered it.

"No, Alice isn't awake yet." Vincent said when she answered.

"But Ash has told me WHY she was having such a breakdown in the first place." he told her.

"....Hollie, it's Victoria." he said.

"She's missing."

"K-knock her out!?" Vincent exclaimed

"I..... ah..." he stammered further, before sighing.

"I understand." he said.

"Ash?" he then asked Ash.

"On it." Ash replied.

Then, with a swift and precise blow, he struck Alice on the back of her head with enough force to knock her out, but not cause any major damage.

"...it's done." Vincent told Hollie over the phone.

"...it is." Vincent replied.

"Hollie, it's Alice." he said.

"Ash and I are trying to calm her down, but nothing is working, and she's getting worse." he continued, before more accurately describing her condition, and giving more details.

"What we've tried hasn't worked." he went on, telling her what they'd already tried.

"Please tell me you have some suggestions."

The fact that Alice seemed to be actively getting worse concerned Ash deeply.

And he did not know what to do.

As such, he resorting to calling her father, Vincent, and asking his advice.

Vincent, upon hearing this, arrived where they were a matter of moments later, with several ideas, and some items to help carry the ideas out.

But... none of them worked.

And Alice seemed to just be getting worse and worse, to the point where it seemed like she was ready to have a complete major emotional breakdown.

Vincent took a step back from Ash and Alice when he saw this, before taking out his cell phone, scrolling through the contacts, and then called the one person he could think of that might be able to help here.

His sister.

"....let's ask Aunt Rocky for help." Ash replied as he held her close.

"She has teas for this." he reminded her.

"I'm sure she has some that will help you." he reasoned.

"Maybe we have some here as well." he then added.

"Just... Alice, freaking out even more will not help." he muttered.

"We need to level you out."

Ash didn't know what to do here.

So he pulled her into a hug, and held her close.

"Alice..." he said.

"Why did you break down?" he asked.

"It's not like you to do so. You're normally all right with flying." he continued.

"So what was so different THIS time?"

"....." Ash was silent as she said what she did.

"I..." he stammered.

"Yeah..." he said.

"I can understand that." he told her.

"....Alice, we'll find her." he then assured her.

"I promise."

"Woah, woah, woah!" Ash said.

"Slow! Slow it down some." he told her.

"Vicki's missing. I understand THAT." he went on.

"And I will use EVERYTHING I have at my disposal to find her, I promise." he went on.

"But... calm down a little... just... take some breaths... compose yourself a little... and tell me what happened." he told her.

"Tell me what you remember, step by step."

When he woke up, Aly was sleeping, and laying on him.

Ryker, however, was still awake.

"Yo." he said when he saw Eke stir.

"Sleep well?" he asked.

"You looked like you were really out of it." he commented further.
