@Ruby: This is kinda when I found out there's a "Fry's" grocery chain as well as the electronics chain. XD

@Ruby: Pardon me for butting in, but "Lowe's foods"? :O
Also Publix has some great stuff but they're kinda pricey. Also also Aldi is great for certain staple items.

I don't get to have tomato dishes nearly as often as I'd like because my roommate is allergic and we tend to do dinners together (despite my trying to separate meals for reasons of my own health; she kinda doesn't take "no" well and she's my landlord, so...).
I haven't had fried green tomatoes, myself, that I can recall, but I had fancy sliced tomatoes of various colors at a restaurant once. They were good!

@Ava: Ew, that's gross. I can totally understand exploring difficult topics in fiction, for the creators it can be an outlet to their trauma, others might relate or it might help educate, etc. And a story generally needs conflict. But at the same time, "rape" is not "entertainment," and that's such a creepy way of describing it and looking at it. I can't blame you for not wanting to go back.

@PoeticTorment: Oh gosh, and they can be pretty prolific growers, too, lol. I suppose you can get tired of anything if you have enough of it!

@The Monster: I'm definitely making steps to improve. Now if only I could find the willpower to go out and walk despite the heat/humidity here even in the mornings. :P
Side note: Aaaaa I love tomatoes they're the best! I just needed to express that because they were mentioned. XD

@Rei Ann: Ooh gosh, I hadn't thought of that angle. I mean it's no excuse but it does a little bit explain it.
My theater teacher was also the general art teacher, and she just... wasn't really a pleasant person. :I

@Rei Ann: Oh my god that's cruel. I swear I never hear about nice or cool theater teachers, they always seem to be favoritist assholes. :/
@Ava: Uh, it was around my freshman year of high school, so about 1998/1999? So well before the modern era of 'canceling' people for bad taste jokes and the like; in fact those kinds of jokes weren't really considered that big of a deal yet I don' think, even though they should have been. I'm really really sorry you've had experience with rape and have been treated like that in response; people are so goddamn awful to victims sometimes! :C

@The Monster: I have a preference for fish and poultry myself, lol. I'm trying to eat more healthy myself; I'm overweight and have health problems and I know I can do better, but boy is it hard. It's not like I was raised to eat poorly but as soon as I had the freedom of buying my own groceries I guess I went a bit bonkers, lol. Trying to learn to control that impulse to buy junk now. And thank you so much (again)! It's very sweet of you. X3

@The Monster: Aw, I'll bet your little one will come around in time. That's good that they like fruits and veggies though; I'm always impressed with kids who actually enjoy healthy foods.
And oh my goodness, thank you so very much! You're so kind. You sure you don't want anything for all this? X3

@Ava: Right? I didn't really consider it so much at the time, but right? It's a pretty heinous thing to present like that, and I think it kinda messed up the girl playing the part of the victim (though she was kinda bizarre to begin with so maybe she was just weird idk).
@Rei Ann: Omg that's terrible! How freaking cruel, and to a kid. I'm sorry that happened to you. :(

@The Monster: Oh definitely if it's done right it's delicious! My mom made summer squash fritters one year and they were amazing; my brothers and I (and she) were eating them about as fast as my mom could cook them, lmao.

I learned the hard way that theater is bullshit. I took it my freshman year of high school and was so excited, but the environment was awful. The teacher played favorites, nobody considered your thoughts or suggestions if you weren't one of those favorites, and you had no chance of getting anything but bit side parts unless you were a favorite.
Also for some reason our high school did a play with a freaking rape scene one year?? Who assigns that to kids??
Anyway yeah I dropped theater like a bad habit after that first year. :/
