Can you remember?

It was in the 80s for me, good old World Class Track Meet on the original Nintendo Entertainment System. LOL! Hard to imagine now that that was ever even fun...
Posted in What is the last game that you beat? Posted 6 years ago
Detroit: Become Human. It's built to replay so, when it's less fresh in mind, I plan to do that. On my first playthrough I kept everyone safe and took the pacifist route, but next time I'm going out guns blazing.

I only tried it in recent years and now it feels really dated. But my cousin's been begging me to play with her. The problem is, my client is old and I cannot get it to update! Any suggestions?

National Novel Writing Month is swiftly approaching!

Is anyone else planning to participate? Are you new or experienced? Are you a planner or a pantser?

I've participated for the last 3 years and won every time. I'm nervous about this year because I've been working 7 days a week and I'm both busy and exhausted. I do meet up with a writing group typically, and that actually helps me keep on track.

I do have an outline for a novel for this year but I just hope I have the time to get started on it.

What are you guys up to this weekend?

Tonight (TGIF!) I'm having dinner with some friends. Tomorrow I'm going to my cousin's house to play Cards Against Humanity. I'm not really sure what that is but she told me to bring a change of underwear so I can only imagine...

Best of all, I won't have to work. I hate working weekends!
Posted in Have you ever met a celebrity? Posted 6 years ago
I go to a lot of conventions so I've met a lot of celebrities. I've met most of the living cast of the original Star Trek, including Bill Shatner, Nichelle Nichols, George Takei, and Walter Koenig. I've met several cast members of The Next Generation, including Marina Sirtis, Jonathan Frakes, and Brent Spiner. In a couple weeks I'm going to meet Levar Burton and I'm so psyched! I've loved him since first grade when he did Reading Rainbow.

I've gotten to meet a lot of anime voice actors, too, including several members of the English-speaking cast of Yuri!!! on Ice (Yuuri, Otabek, Minako, and Christophe).

Most recently I met Adrian Paul of Highlander. Ahhh! Always had a huge crush on him. lol He's so, so, so, so nice. They say never to meet your heroes, but I'm SO glad I got to meet him. I got a couple photos with him and he signed my Highlander DVD set. Nicest guy I ever met at a con, seriously.

Rudest celebrity I ever met? Eliza Dushku. WTF. Like, why you gotta be that way? You're not even an A-lister. lol!

Tell me your celebrity gossips. I needs them!!!

Netflix is the best... I'm glad it was saved. I only watched the first season but I enjoyed it. I'd like to see more.

I'm not quite finished with season 2 but I love the show. That sweet 80s nostalgia, I can't get enough!
Posted in That was... freaky Posted 6 years ago
When I was a kid one time I dreamed I was running all over the house, trying to find air. I was gasping for breath and running from room to room, trying to open windows and doors. Then I woke up and I was actually tangled up tight in my covers and suffocating for real! I think that dream may have saved my life.
I saw that! British show, right? My wife surprised me with season 1 on my birthday a couple years ago. I kind of forgot about that... It was definitely a different take.

I have a spending problem. I think work has me so stressed and depressed that I'm trying to cheer myself up by buying things. And my credit card is basically maxed now. @_@

Customer service is the worst job ever... But once you've worked it, you sure know how to respect other human beings cause you know how they've suffered. lol

Bone Wench:
I once had a cat that would play with potatoes.
Wanted nothing to do with cat toys. But if he could steal a potato from the kitchen...omg.
Problem was when he would go hide his prize under furniture.

That made me laugh so hard! That's hilarious!!!

My kitty collects hair ties. He always takes them to his water dish and soaks them, then he pushes them under the refrigerator. We never knew where they were disappearing to, until we moved the fridge for cleaning. There were *27* hair ties under the refrigerator. hahaha

When he was a kitten he had this little stuffed animal he'd carry everywhere. It was so funny because it was twice the size of him, but he took it all over the house and would play fetch with it if you tossed it down the hall. He was so, so, soooo cute! He grew so fast.
