I really could use a new car... New bookshelves would be awesome. Maybe an upgrade to a California king sized bed. lol

I'm taking a week off of work. Definitely need some rest! I hope I can get caught up on housework. I've been working up to 18 hours a day this year and I'm too tired to even fold laundry after work.

Yesss! I love it! That color is totally you!

I used to have a purple/teal/blue ombre but the upkeep was too annoying after a few months.

Aw, two cuties! I'm glad they get along. It's so stressful when they don't!

@Tuijp: He's actually the sweetest cat I've ever met, but he cannot abide by a kitten. My Charlie is 3 now but he's still wild and drives my older cat insane. If he so much as makes eye contact he starts foaming at the mouth in rage. LOL! Other than that, he just purrs and nuzzles everything in sight. It's hard to keep them separated!!

Is this your only kitty?
Posted in How tall are you?? Posted 5 years ago
5'3". Everyone is short on both sides of my family, and shrinking. lol I am actually very uncomfortable if I'm not the shortest person around; I don't like it when people have to look up at me to talk, because I'm very unused to it.

I definitely don't think all cats are kittens. I've got my "grumpy old man" who hates kids (actual kittens) and he snores really loud. lol! I call him Grumpapuss cause he's kinda cranky these days, since we have a much younger cat who likes to torment him.

@Tuijp: You've got a beauty-boy! Happy anniversary with your little lovie.

@Zack: Oh, that's terrible! X_X I don't know why anyone would work with a creep like that. Maybe when the current contract expires she can work with someone else. That would just make me feel gross. Bleh.

Thanks for the recs! I'll check them out.

I like to embellish whenever I had assignments like these. Nobody from class knew my life so I just wrote whatever made for a good story. They couldn't prove I was lying. haha! (And, to be honest, truth is stranger than fiction, and I don't LIKE people knowing about my past, least of all classmates and instructors, when it's none of their business. Too invasive. So I lie.)

@Zack: Oh, really? What's her producer doing, exploiting her or is it the inconsistency in her music? I know she's been around for a while. Where would you recommend starting? Any particular tracks?

What's a show on Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime that you love to binge, and why?

I'm looking for some recommendations for this week, while work is slow due to the holiday. I'll give anything a go, but would prefer something I don't have to watch *too* closely, since I'm at work. So no fast-paced animes or anything, please!

Right now I'm watching The Man in the High Castle. It's fairly slow-paced. I'm curious to see what happens to the characters but I don't enjoy seeing Nazis in power so I'd rather watch something else.

Senator Warren KILLED it in the first hour. After that I kept wondering if she'd fallen asleep. lol Two hours was too much. I was finished after one hour of that debate. @_@

I greatly appreciated that Senator Booker and Julián Castro both talked about transgender rights without prompting. I like that Governor Inslee was so focused on climate change. Overall my opinion is unchanged; I still like Senators Warren and Booker best of this first debate group. They are fighters and I feel like they've shown their actions match their words.

I think I liked Congresswoman Gabbard the least. As a woman she should NOT have completely disregarded the question about pay inequality for women to talk about her military service. She talked about her military service in response to every single question. She made it sound like she didn't care or think the issue of equal pay for equal work for women is important. I wasn't very impressed by O'Rourke, either. I cracked up a little when Castro told him he should have done his homework. LOL!

Any Kim Petras fans? I heard of her years ago because she was the youngest person to undergo gender confirmation surgical procedures but I was watching the news earlier today and they had a story on her being a major international pop star. I listen to older music, 60s-90s, so I haven't been aware she's charting.

Any fans? What are some of her best songs/videos? They played a couple clips on the news and they were in English. Does she record in her native German, as well? Any other languages?

I actually like it but it's not really that gay and I would never pay that much money for a T-shirt, anyway.
