The Dragon Age series a favorite of mine. I'm playing Inquisition right now and I find it very dull. I miss my linear DA games. DAII is my favorite. At least Varic is in Inquisition cause I'm madly in love with that sassy dwarf.

Nikki was the first game I installed on my phone 3 years ago. I was really enjoying it, investing a lot of time and it just made me feel happy. Then they had an update and it utterly broke the game. It didn't work for like a year, and when they restarted it, it was awful. All our inventories were erased. All our currency was gone. Everything cost real money and the game didn't play the same way.
I know it's different again now, but that really broke my heart and I haven't wanted to try it since.

I could write a whole series of books about my coworkers...but I'll narrow the subject down to one guy.
The first thing he said to me when we met (because he was supposed to be training me), was, "Do you party?" I had a bad feeling about him from that moment but my relationship with him just stayed weird for years.
He was supposed to be teaching me how to do our job, but all he did was sit there and talk to me. It was annoying because A) I was there to work and B) I had literally nothing in common with this guy. Me, introvert. Him, couldn't stop talking. Me, an intellectual. Him...not. lol
Somehow we kept getting stuck in projects together. And he was so completely lazy, he'd cry to our boss that stuff was too hard so I should be the one to do it. I was never in on these discussions; he'd just come up to me in the morning as I was trying to get settled in at my desk to say, "Hey, I talked to the boss and told him this is too hard, so he said for you to do it."
It went on for years. Not just with me; he did that to everyone. He'd sit at his desk and call someone's name and make them go over to his cubicle, then he'd ask, "Hey, how do I do this?" For every basic, routine, newbie thing we do. I finally got fed up and refused to jump when he snapped his fingers, and just shouted to him, "You have the same manual guidance we all do, you're just too lazy to read it!" He laughed but didn't deny it.
One time this bigwig government official came to our office for a tour. He was supposed to give a demonstration of our computer systems and the very day of the demonstration, he chickened out and came up to me to say "I'm too nervous to speak in public so I told the boss you'd do it." This outgoing loudmouth who never shut up was telling the social anxiety-stricken introvert to meet with a four-star general and demonstrate some technology. I told my boss reluctantly that I would do it.
I don't work with him anymore, but...moral of the story is...people who are lazy slackers at their jobs don't always get fired. Sometimes they linger and fester. My advice is to switch shifts, train for a new position, or find another job. There's one no matter where you work, but if someone is 100% unbearable, you can't really just wait for them to get fired cause there's a good chance they won't be.

Oh! This is my new home. lol
1. Willow. Loved the story, loved the characters, and obsessed with Val Kilmer since the 80s thanks to this movie.
2. Red Sonja. She is AMAZING. When I was a kid I found this perfectly shaped stick that was thick enough and just the right length to be a "sword." I always pretended to be Red Sonja when I played outside. But one day my little brother took my "sword" and broke it into pieces for something he was doing outside. I was too embarrassed to tell him that was MY stick. lol! Soundtrack, amazing.
3. Conan the Destroyer. I know people like Barbarian better, but I saw Destroyer first cause it was tamer, so I just loved it first. Soundtrack, super amazing.
4. Conan the Barbarian. Obviously I am in love with Arnold Schwarzenegger. And the soundtrack is amazing. And it was actually cool to see this one AFTER Destroyer, because the other movie was all about his longing to have his love back, and this film shows you not only how she died, but how they met and fell in love. I mean, it's about a crazy snake cult, but it's still kinda romantic. lol
5. Fire and Ice. Incredible animation, incredible setting... And I just really, really love the villain. He's the ultimate spoiled mama's boy with unlimited powers...
6. Ladyhawke. It's just such a classic, tragic set-up: she is a hawk by day, and he is a wolf by night. Just beautiful.
7. Beastmaster. It's a little sad because I hate when animal characters are killed in the storyline, but wow, Marc Singer was gorgeous as Dar. Very creepy baddies in this film. Makes you wonder about the people who thought them up. Ew.
8. 단적비연수 (Legend of the Ginko). I don't think people liked this Korean film very much. It was a sequel (but not really) to Ginko Bed. I didn't see the first film and I don't think it's fantasy, but this "sequel" has the feel of something that might have actually happened in ancient times between warring clans, one fighting to protect a young girl and the other fighting to make her into a sacrifice.
9. The Black Cauldron. I haven't read the full book series but I like the animated film version Disney made. They really did capture the spirit of the setting and characters.
10. Merlin. A made-for-TV miniseries. I'm obsessed with Arthurian lore, and this series made Mordred into my favorite character in the histories. Loved the actor so much, when I saw this show in high school I did my senior thesis on Mordred. I wrote my whole term paper as a defense of his actions. Even though he's a "villain." lol

I've heard of Banana Fish and I'm curious, but I'm not sure where to watch it.
I started watching the new series of Free! but I kind of forgot about it... I guess it kind of depresses me that the characters have graduated high school and are going to separate colleges, and some of their friends are still back in high school, so they aren't constantly together anymore. And it introduced a lot of new characters and now it just feels like a different show...

I'd love to read the book because I imagine it's even better. I thought the movie was pretty decent but the acting wasn't the greatest. I was happy to see John Corbett because I love him so~ He has such a sweet, handsome face and a charming voice and I love him in romcoms, even if he's just a side character like in To All the Boys and Serendipity.

I would have to say superhero movies in general. I do occasionally watch them. I'm a comic book fan and I like cartoon versions of Batman and The X-Men, and every TV series about Superman (the original Superman, Superboy, Lois & Clark, and Smallville) is on my list of favorite TV shows of all time. But I can't tolerate the movies. They're too long and too boring. Deadpool started off really funny but by the end it became so cliche I knew what would happen before it did. Wonder Woman was entertaining but I actually fell asleep during the extended fight scene at the end.

I prefer crimes of passion, myself, and stories about people who plot to kill their spouses and even their own children for money and worse reasons. I do follow a lot of serial killer stories, though, because those are the ones that intrigue most people and there are a lot of documentaries about them.
The story I've been most interested in lately is about the man who murdered his neighbor, who was a combat veteran who had saved all his hazard pay while in the Gulf, so he could steal his debit card. The killer was an actor, and he asked the vet to help him carry some boxes in the attic of the theater where he performed, and instead shot him. He admitted to laughing as the vet pleaded for help, thinking he'd been electrocuted. Then he cut him into pieces and went back to the vet's apartment, using the dead man's cell phone to text and lure a female friend over, to murder her and make it look like the two had been in an argument and the vet had killed her and fled.
That was about the most twisted thing I've ever heard. I keep looking up articles and TV specials about it and I'm still in complete shock that someone could be that cold for some cash. He just wanted to throw a fancy party for his wedding and now he'll never even get married. I think they're still trying to decide if his former fiancee had anything to do with it. Neither of them ever indicated he had anything to do with it, and based on their recorded telephone conversations I believe she didn't. But she is a hundred times less emotional than he is, so I feel like she probably is a psychopath herself.

I like fictional crime shows as well. My favorite is Medium. The cast is just fantastic and I love the balance between their home lives and work lives.
Thank you for the gifts, by the way! Nice to meet you. ^^

Probably Zoolander... I don't remember anything about it now except that it bored me and I thought it was horrible when I saw it. But I suffered through because my friend ordered it on Pay-Per-View, back in the days before streaming services like Netflix.
