@Seo: Kids are smelly. I always thought middle school was a common time, considering they've just began puberty and aren't used to actually having body odor and needing to wash themselves and their clothes regularly...and use deodorant. Then again, I only ever taught middle school.
Velvet:
Eeeep! The first creep of the night!

I will try to keep up. I have a circus of children to run.

I know exactly how you feel. I used to be a middle school teacher and some kids, it seemed, didn't ever wash their hoodies once in the semester they had with me. I wanted to tell them to but obviously, that oversteps boundaries and would embarrass them. So I just brought in a glade cone.

@Sass Pegasus: I am going to. That's incredibly inappropriate. Even if the shop was empty, they still should wait until later.

@Q t e a p o n: Lol it was the most uncomfortable coffee run I have ever done. I have lived in this town since I was 5. I am 38 now.
I have a concealed carry permit, so I am not afraid to leave the house at night but I still don't want to deal with this crap.
My keurig is broken, so I couldn't make my own coffee.

@Sass Pegasus: God, I know right? Even I was disgusted. I feel like I should put in a complaint. I just wanted a coffee. I can watch that stuff at home thanks.

Threw my kid's uniform in the wash and walked to a 24 hour coffee café around the corner from my house. While I was there, I was talking about ducks and swans on the Discord. I decided to leave when the Barista's boyfriend came in. I was the only customer. They started vigorously making out and he was reaching down her shirt. So I left. Then this drunk guy spots me and comes up and starts telling me his life story and I keep walking. He doesn't get the hint and my linguistic skills came in handy. I turned and started speaking in Chinese to make it seem like I didn't know any English. He left me alone after that.
It's just now turning 11. I guess I won't leave the house after 9.

@Neko: Have a good time at the gym (well, as good as you can working out.)

I got a huge burst of energy Friday and walked for an hour. I didn't think I could do it with my health issues. I am pretty proud of myself. I walked for a half hour today as well. I am going to try to make this a thing.

Sheesh. That's terrible.

Not a renovation story but a landlord story. My oldest is 20 and she and her husband had to downgrade apartments to something more affordable. They have tenant only parking and a laughably small section for visitor parking. Her husband's father bought him a car but the car is in her father-in-law's name so their landlord refuses to give them a parking space. She argued that they pay to live there, they deserve a place to park. He denied it. Her husband, Harrison said that the visitor parking spaces are always full. The landlord said, "Really?! Come on! There's 6 parking spaces." They tried to explain that for one, 3 of those spaces are handicap parking, so technically there's only 3 spaces available for them. And that 6 parking spaces for an 89 unit building is ridiculously illogical. It really doesn't take a genius to see how that doesn't add up well. But he wouldn't stop cutting them off two words in. My daughter is painfully shy but has my temper and Harrison noticed that her fuse was going to reach it's limit, so he had to practically drag her out of there before she got them evicted.
I just can't believe how this asshole thinks this is not an issue. More than once they went somewhere and came back to find all 3 available parking spots full, so they had to drive around aimlessly and keep coming back to see if they could park.

Edit: Harrison's father pays for the car loan, insurance and repair costs, so he's a bit hesitant of signing the car over to him in case something happens to it.

@Boris: Right. I can handle a few of them (but I obviously shouldn't tempt fate) and I always want more after I have had a few. : P

@Seo: Guacamole has a texture that creeps me out. My friend is allergic to avocados. I have never heard of anyone else having a problem with them. I wonder if it's some chemical component that naturally occur that trigger an avocado allergy. I know that those who have latex allergies may be sensitive to avocados and bananas and kiwi. I have a latex allergy and bananas and kiwi make my tongue and the roof of my mouth itch. Are you allergic to latex?

@Seo: Id really love to go back to Ireland. I was born in Dublin, so I think I will always feel a pull towards the Emerald Isle. My late wife was from Iceland, which I would like to live in even for a little bit. Honestly, I am such a nerd about foreign languages, food, customs and cultures that I have often thought that if I could travel for free, there would be no country left untouched. I am extremely curious about the way people in other countries live their lives and I think it would be amazing to experience these things firsthand.

Where are you thinking about lately? Are there places you feel especially drawn to?

@Shark: They are!

@Seo: Its frustrating.

That feeling when you are deathly allergic to tree nuts but you love pistachios.

Why must it be this way. : (
