@Reapergirl87: When I lived in Boston, I remember getting days of intense rain and heavy winds. I didn't know then but those were actually the tail end of hurricanes from Florida which had made their way up the east coast. Of course, by then they were weakened, so we never got anything too difficult to handle, though they are known to knock down a few trees and kill the power.

@Zach: Lol well, it's a bit complicated. I went back and forth with my ex wife, Ayame and fiancée, Janna. The twins are 6 and are the children of Ayame. Janna and I have a five year old. Then Ayame and I have triplets who are four. Then she and I realized it wasn't going to work because she was jealous and I wanted to be with Janna. And now Janna had our youngest in May. There's kind of huge story to it and it's not worth getting into. Lol.

I don't sleep either. I've had problems off and on with insomnia since I was 3 or 4. Sleep is for the weak. Lol. Who knows though. With how tiring raising a baby is, you might actually want to sleep more.

Yeah haha. That's the thing with due dates. The baby comes when it wants and doesn't really care when it's due date is. x ) Nice! Does she want a girl or boy?

Haha yeah. I'm no longer able to have kids though, so 11 is the final amount.

@Zach: Yay! : ) Tagging is the same in here as another avatar site I am on. I wish I knew you didn't know prior to that response. I would have told you.

Twins weren't as difficult to take care of as the triplets (they've the same mother as the twins). It's very difficult. Being a new parent (or larent to a new baby if one already has kids) is pretty stressful amd you learn to cope with needing to take care of multiple babies at once, though you feel like a zombie. Lol

Ah, nice! : D What a nice birthday present. You hoping for a boy or girl? Or does the gender not matter to you? I have 7 boys and 4 girls.

@Zach: My fiancée is Mexican and our 5 year old son is bilingual. She's going to teach our 3 month old (he'll be 4 months on the fifteenth). My oldest will be 20 in two days and her mother, my late wife, was from Iceland and she taught Jaden Icelandic. She only spoke to our daughter in Icelandic and Jaden had to speak to Di in just Icelandic as well. Meanwhile, I spoke to Jaden in just English. My advice is start as early as you can. The window of prime opportunity to learn another language is kindergarten or younger because your brain is still making linguistic connections to the world around you.

@Zach: Wow! Extra congrats then! : D I have twin six year olds that my ex and I tried for a year to have. I understand that frustration and then feeling of victory when you finally get a positive pregnancy test. : ) How far along is she?

@Lily: My late wife was an Icelandic immigrant. Her first name given at birth was Lilja (said as Lilya) and it was Icelandic name for Lily. When she changed her name to one from the English language for personal reasons, she decided to stick with a flower themed name and went with Diantha, which is from the flower, Dianthus. : )
Your post jist reminded me of that.

@Syn: Lol well, at least cats don't talk nonstop and start every sentence with, "Heu, daddy!" @.@ One of my four year olds does. She's been up since 8:30 and she has not stopped talking. It's 3:19 now. ¬.¬
Though some cats meow like crazy, so...

Haha! Nice to meet you to. I hope you're enjoying your stay.

You have attracted this Linguiphile's attention.

From my profile (because I am too lazy to type it out again)
I do speak English (native), Chinese (advanced), Irish (intermediate), Romanian (intermediate), Vietnamese (beginner) and I am pretty good at ASL.
For languages I'm currently learning: Irish, Romanian, Vietnamese, Spanish, Czech, German, Welsh, Italian, Punjabi, Tibetan, Korean, Manx and Icelandic.

I taught Mandarin for 10 years. I liked it. I have a fairly easy time picking up new languages. I'm not sure why but I like it.
