I use Facebook to find out horrible truths about people I used to respect, and I use Tumblr if I want actual entertaining or thought provoking things to look at. I also have an instagram I continually forget to post my art to... and I've been toying around with the amino app for a few days, still not sure how I feel about it though. I like the idea of social networking, but wish I could use it more to make new friends rather than keep up with people I know, but its the internet and perverts run rampant.

I had Threads the Bear, from the land of pleasant dreams.

I would carry him around everywhere for YEARS, he fell completely apart and had to be re-made by my great grandma, so it played upon the story adorably.
I also had the Teddy Ruxpin that read books to you... his jaw fell off because my childhood just had to be filled with scary nonsense.

I miss playing animal crossing. I only ever emulated it because I was late finding out about it, so when the app came out I was so excited. They did a really good job capturing the feel of the console versions of the game, but I personally just can't get into gaming-apps... I just don't care for them on phone or tablet. It feels weird AND eats my battery :p I might have to buy a Switch just for this, though, I'd love to see where they've taken the game mechanics from the last one I played.

Coffee. Does coffee count? Coffee is my favorite snack. Its like a warm hug for your insides. Its like food in liquid form. Its good after sweet or spicy food. It can come in any flavor or intensity. You can bake that stuff right into a cake. I add it to green chili sometimes. I'm drinking coffee RIGHT NOW.

@Robyn: Music works so well. I'm always on breaks at work with my music so loud everyone can hear it, just headbanging and singing as loud and annoying as possible. Its what gets me through the day!

Meditation. I know how much I sound like one of those new agey "meditation is the answer to all lifes problems" folks, but its honestly quite helpful. Its more than just thinking of nothing.... being able to train your brain to let go of intrusive thought is so important. The best part is, there are many different types of meditation... if one does not suit you, try another. There are completely relaxed methods, and methods of excitement that push you to the limits. I do best sitting in white noise or if I'm "in the zone" art-wise, while my husband finds more clarity from jamming out to metal... both the music and the exercise help him center his mind.

I've got nintendos, SUPER nintendos, a 3DO and a game cube which all get plugged in and enjoyed regularly..... but lately I've been playing my first ever MMO again: Everquest. I'm immediatly reminded of why I never got into games like WOW because EQ does not hold your hand at all. They actually expect you to read text to figure out your objective rather than shooting off flares to lead you where you need to be, and I love that. Its like I actually have to PLAY the game to accomplish anything... plus the music is like a giant nostalgia bomb <3
