I don't really have any plans for Halloween. It's a Wednesday this year?
I'll probably stay at home and pass out candy, but since my neighborhood has so few kids that trick or treat, I might just... leave it at the door and forget about it...

What's something that you haven't done before that you want to try?

The donation center I'm thinking of is also a thrift shop, but they don't return any profits to you for giving them your clothes, haha.

Mosquitos hate me too (glad for that).

Several years ago, I went on a family trip to rural China, where the mosquitos are so bad that you need to sleep in a bed covered with mosquito netting unless you want to be eaten alive. My sister and my mom came back covered in bites. My dad and I had like... 2 small ones...

Posted in Songs associated with memories Posted 6 years ago
There was one week in college where I consistently stayed up nearly all night studying for multiple exams over the course of several days, and I listened to this song on loop to help me focus. It got me through some tough spots that quarter.

I'd thought that after that, I would continue to associate the song with those torturous days of studying, but since then it's actually become more of a song that reminds me of my own motivation. I listen to it when I'm feeling down.

Do you have any songs that you directly associate with a specific memory, experience, or maybe person? Maybe you listened to it a lot during a certain point in your life, so when you listen to it now, it brings you back to those days?

Whoa that clothing fair sounds really awesome actually, it's a good idea. I normally just drop off a whole bag of old clothes at a donation center. I cleaned out my closet recently of lots of super old clothes that I haven't worn in ages, and it was... kind of scary how many things I was able to pack in that closet...

My closet is devoid of all color except maybe some dark reds and greens. I can't bring myself to wear anything else.

I definitely ended up skipping and just slept off the hunger sigh

Today I cooked rice only to realize that I have no vegetables and that none of the meat is defrosted and now I'm considering either skipping dinner entirely or eating the rice with soy sauce. I'm such a mess

@Millet: Ah yeah sorry the slots are full! I only have so few because I'm worried about feeling overwhelmed.
I'm fine with anything, really. There aren't really any items that I'm looking for (except maybe the Soulmate Strings?) but I'll still accept anything, haha

@okios: No but now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I designed them around the time of my embarrassing Vocaloid phase tbh you probably know me better than I do

All right, I'll keep that in mind!

Haha if you want to turn this into an art trade, I'm okay with that too but don't force yourself.
I'm excited to see your auction piece, your art is great!

Rereading is such a gamble. I recently picked up some old favorite books from my bookshelf to read them again and honestly they are very trashy, I don't think I can look at them the same way again. I stopped before I completely ruined my childhood, haha

Ahh I feel like I'm never satisfied with movie adaptations if I've read the book beforehand. Very cliche but can't deny it.

I don't even know if there's anyone I would do that again for, yikes. That night was an extremely impulsive decision...

I'm also really guilty of skipping meals because of this... When in doubt, instant noodles. Throw an egg on top, now we're talking gourmet

Are you pulling all-nighters because you want to or because of stuff you have to do??

All-nighters are awful for me. Theoretically I only lose about 5-6 hours of sleep in doing so, but it always takes me like three times that amount to fully recover from it. It's ironic because I pull all-nighters only when I'm running out of time to do things, but in the end it just takes up more time, what a mess
