@Anarchist Beauty: that's so frustrating! Can I ask what kind of surgery you're getting? Our town has the opposite problem, Everyone is hiring- but they're short staffed, so even hiring people is back-logged due to lack of available time for HR or whoever is hiring.
Now that everything is online, it's even more backlogged. /so annoying.

I did walk into one place on saturday and asked about the position open, but she directed me to go online to fill out the application even after seemingly being interested in me filling the position.. /shrugs/ I guess I'll see. I hate this waiting thing. lol.
