@Wildfire: i will always be lazy in my mom's eyes. Lol. Even once all this job swapping is done, she'll still find ways to make comments on my lack of motivation. XD. This is something i am used to and expect. She is who she is. And she treats others by the way she runs her own life.
I have an older kid that has strep throat at home too. My husband is dealing with that why I handle daycare stuff.
@Wildfire: no. She doesn't stop. My mom is a person that- if she stops, her thoughts start filling her brain and she gets depressed. So she's a workaholic. And im her lazy, spoiled youngest. XD
My sister and I are keeping her busy with my tedious job tasks. Its sorting and organizing bins full of items. Kind of like doing inventory for my job.
There's 7 kids on today's daycare planner, all under 2 and a half. -silent panic-
@Wildfire: my mom keeps trying to get me to do her evening babysitting/nanny jobs too because they pay a fortune. But my god. I am pooped.
I did a nye gig and new years day, my bank account thanks me but my mental- not so much. XD
I nannyed at a multimillion dollar home. OTL spoiled children. And they called me "nanny mom" because i mentioned i had my own children. Cx
And those children asked me if my nanny was watching my kids while i nannyed these kids. Like Whaoh! Realities are just so different.

This update is exciting. C:
@Wildfire: change of plans, i have 3 one year olds and my 9 month old and the 2 older ones.
And then change of plans again, my sister had a meeting with her boss about my role. They decided to move me to the second location which is 2 blocks from my mom's house and i'll be their evening shift person.
(This was the OG plan before i got swept into the Xmas rush) so - plans might change again, but everything seems to be working out.
But ... Ill be working a lot. And kids wear me out more than anything ... So. OTL
Tis only temporary.
@Wildfire: your avatar is so cute. C:
Well, my sister is my boss- so she's trying to keep me on payroll ... Which means, i'll be working from home in the evenings to keep my own income going. She told me last night. My new position is her secretary(essentially).
Since I know the labor side of the job, she's going to squeeze me into admin work. Cx
I'm glad my mom's available and texting/yelling down the stairs how to care for each child that shows up for daycare.
One parent is definitely scarred by the other day's chaos. He keeps bringing it up at drop off.
Today, i'm watching 5 babys/toddlers + My 3.
@Wildfire: yeah. I hope I adjust to the daycare job since its my mom's #1 income.
Today's kids are on the easier side.
Looks like i'll be doing this for about 5-8 weeks for my mom. Gotta make sure her financials stay stable. And her mental health.
She's a workaholic, so her jobs is her happiness.
I'll have to reapply to my new job once the dust settles and hope they'll still have me when the time comes.

welcome back and I'm glad you have some time to yourself now. <3

My life is really busy at the moment, so squeezing in voltra time is difficult. o3o'
Posted in Little free librariesss Posted 2 years ago
I use those little libraries as often as I can. c:
I take books if something catches my eye and then my pile of books at home, that I don't intend to keep, I drive or walk to the free libraries that I took from and fill them up.
Adults enjoy them as much as kids.
I was at a park once and slapped an old louis lamour western in it and within a few mins, a kid came over and grabbed it and yelled "MOM. Grampas books are in here!" and she scuttled over and grabbed the couple I put in for her father to read. cx
lol. I love louis lamour, ... so that made me feel like an old grandpa hiding inside a young female body. XDD
@Wildfire: The irony of my new situation...
I finally got my finances sorted out last night and were able to project a positive income. CX ~ actually put money in savings and pay debt off~
That's going on hold/pause for quite awhile.
So, the jobs I'm taking over for my mom since she's a workaholic... 3 babysitting jobs this weekend. Night jobs. Running her store during the day during the weekend.
and running her daycare from 7:30 to 5pm daily. o3o'
I'm a fluid 'go with the flow' person. I'm heckin' nervous but know it's the only option or my mom could lose her rental house. /sigh

Thankfully, my husband can be my stand-in at work for the next week on the schedule. Then he starts his new job.

/internal panic/
@Wildfire: my sister and I spend months planning Christmas. So, now that it's over- it's almost like a void. But also a relief. And so quickly back to work. I just feel weird today. Lol. Mixed emotions.
It was a good Christmas Eve/Day. Even the 16 year old niece enjoyed it and played board games with the littles.
She did go to the safety of her room a few times, no judgement there.
How was Christmas there?
@Wildfire: sucks Christmas landed on a weekend. I worked friday, did Christmas Sat & Sun and then ... Mon is here and im at work again. XD
It was a full weekend. Good gifts, lots of food, and eager children.
Merry Christmas ! <333
@Wildfire: how's your garden in such cold weather? 45 is low for there. o3o
We're surviving. Lol this town didn't rest during thay cold front yesterday. We still did errands, went to work and whatnot. X)
