(120(5) + 180x)/(5+x) = 170
(600 + 180x)/(5+x) = 170
600 + 180x = 170(5+x)
600 + 180x = 850 + 170x
180x - 170x = 850 - 600
10x = 250
x = 25
5 + 25 = 30, so
The journey took 30 hours, like Shadami and Theory said ^-^

OKAY WAIT I THINK I KNOW WHAT WE'RE DOING WRONG
so, we've established that it would take 10 brushes 120 minutes to paint all the roses
You don't DIVIDE THAT to get how long it would take 1 brush, you MULTIPLY IT.
SO: 1 small brush would take 1200 minutes to paint all the roses
1 small brush would take 600 minutes to paint 50% of the roses
we have 8 Small Brushes and 8 Large Brushes; so we have a total of 24 Small Brushes.
600/24 = 25 minutes
It would take them 25 minutes to paint all the roses
........I think?

s = 2.5
So....it took them 2 minutes and 30 seconds to paint half the roses red

4L + 2s = 120
4L + 2s = 2L + 6s
2L = 4s
L = 2s
4(2s) + 2s = 120
10s = 120
s = 12

WAIT FUDGE IT WAS THE 10TH OF JULY AT 11:35 PM but he was gone 67 hours and 35 Minutes still im pretty sure

@Dipper: if you use a time zone calculator some of them let you put in the date for the times you looking for
