Vidya game speak? *nestles right on in here* This thread is relevant to my interests cB

Honestly I didn't hate DmC but it was pretty repetitive, and seemed almost try-hard. It was enjoyable enough tho

@Mousy: It makes me sad that your school doesn't celebrate Halloween, but the character parade sounds pretty cool so I'll let it slide. xD Plus, a lot of people tend to pick the same costume so you see a lot of whoever is popular, but with the character costumes it seems like a nice way to mix things up and force people to get creative!

YESS THE ORBS! my body is ready

Sooooo many avatar ideas but I'm already out of ohms LOL

It's so surreal.
When you're not in school, the school year seems to fly by. xD

I'll be hibernating for the summer as much as possible. It's already getting pretty hot, and I'm in no hurry for the year to be over but I'm counting down the days until Halloween. xD

Posted in When Are We Getting This? Posted 7 years ago

Actually we're not that far off from things like holographic screens. The technology for holograms is constantly growing and developing and they've managed to create 3D holograms, rather than 2D. I'd say another 10 years, 20 tops, and you'll start to see this kind of tech. The military is anywhere from 10-20 years ahead of us technology wise, so they probably already have some really cool stuff.

Until then I patiently await the day i can have my own Jarvis. In the meantime tho, there is a programme called JARVIS that works in tandem with your voice recognition software to act as a personal assistant. It's more a virtual intelligence than an artificial one, but still kinda cool nonetheless.

Omg yes cooking with wild food is the best! It's organic and you know it's super fresh! Bet that pie is gonna be kick ass!
Posted in So I went to the dentist Posted 7 years ago

@vengeance: Well there's that too xD it's loaded with a lot of benefits really! I put a few drops on my wisdom tooth (it's erupting painfully) when it's bothering me and it tingles and then numbs my gums just a bit. After a while the pain is gone! c:

Can confirm, metalheads are the best and I love them. I always feel safe at metal concerts. The people are always so cool, too! They'll always stop what they're doing to make sure everyone is okay and are great at watching out for each other.
Posted in So I went to the dentist Posted 7 years ago

I'm really weird in that I love going to the dentist, but I've only ever gone for cleaning and love when my teeth feel all nice and polished. Going to get a tooth pulled, though, that's definitely scary, especially if you've had a bad experience in the past.

Hopefully they'll be able to pull it out soon enough, before it causes more problems for you :C and it sucks when you can't even take anything for the pain, I know that feel. I'm allergic to pretty much everything. xD

One thing you might try is clove extract, or even chewing on a clove and then setting it on the problem tooth. They have eugenol which is a numbing agent, and clove is also a powerful antibiotic which can keep the tooth from getting worse. c:

@Alexis: I know, me too. *Puts paper bag away* A shame. No apocalypse today!

Congrats on the new job, it's always exciting starting off somewhere fresh. c:
