@Theory: haha whoops c': everything's moving 3fast5me in here xD It is super duper useful tho!

@littlewhitedragonlet: For real tho, always making things more complicated. xD

@Unicorn: Food is a good start xD

@Angelus: Using a numbered alphabet chart (like the one Theory linked) is super helpful for these kinds of puzzles!

@Theory: Pain is my power! > o<

@littlewhitedragonlet: Huh, here I was dividing numbers but never thought to add or subtract...which is so much simpler... xD wow, brain. c':

@RainbowPanda: I started by trying to decode the 3-letter words, but ended up with weird letter strings which obviously weren't right... SO I looked at the longer word and found it wasn't "wonderland" and knew it wasn't "cheshire" so I gave caterpillar a shot and literally gasped aloud. xD

@Angelus: An anagram is typically one (real) word which can be rearranged into another (real word), whereas an amalgam is basically a scrambled word. They are interchangeable for all intents and purposes. c:
Posted in Ch. 11 Knave's Alibi Posted 7 years ago

@Angelus: No, the first puzzle was a full word search puzzle. The second game was a decoding game. They are individual/separate. If you head to the front page you can see the first and second games. The third is running now, and it seems like it is an amalgam.
Posted in Ch. 11 Knave's Alibi Posted 7 years ago

@Angelus: Each prompt is its own little mini game. The first was a word search, the second is a code, and the third is...well, we're not sure yet. xD

@Theory: I kinda thought it rhymed, but then when I looked at your solution I was like "nah that's probably it".

At first I was thinking synonyms/antonyms but I didn't think "attic/basement" or "herb/spice" would really get us anywhere. xD

Posted in Ch. 11 Knave's Alibi Posted 7 years ago

I dunno.. this is kind of a stretch.

Attic Batch Herb

Caterpillar?

edit: I think Theory's got this one o:
