Andrew often found himself studying pirate legends, and folktales. Even when he was a child. His parents worried and tried taking away his books, among other things. That was one month he avoided his parents like the plague. He dreamed of having a ship, and a crew, sailing across the seven seas with his best friend. She was really the only one that seemed to understand him.
Andrew lived on his own, now that he was older, and was on his way over to see mentioned best friend. He made a captain's hat, and wanted to show her. He'd spent weeks on getting it to come out right.

Allen walked the dirt path, lifting his head when she spoke. "No, I quite like this weather." He answered casually. He really did too. On warmer days it was harder for him to wander outside. "Are you?" He asked curiously, being able to tell she was at least chilled. Whenever she did stumble, or trip, he would pause and help her regain her balance, then continued.
After a bit of walking, they passed the tree he had 'attacked' the previous night after meeting Kaneko, and soon they came to a clearing. Within the clearing was a large manor that seemed to have been there for some time now. There were vines growing over and through the fences around the clearing, statues that had cracked or pieces had broken off. There was a stone path leading to the front door, and a small withered flower garden on either side. The stairs had sprouts peeking through the cracks of the bricks. He couldn't see any of the aging, because of his blindness- but he knew the manor had seen better days. He could only imagine. "I can only imagine what time has done to the place, I only wish I could've kept it up properly.." He murmured quietly, pausing briefly. He carefully led her to the door and opened the door for her. "Welcome to my humble abode, miss Kaneko." Allen said casually.

Nathan chuckled and kissed her forehead. "I love you, Sirene." He murmured quietly. He blinked when she mentioned trying to turn him into a book reader, and swam beside her. "I read books, I just don't tell you." He teased playfully.

Inuyasha blinked when he felt her hand, then smirked lightly and went about eating his soup. "That remedy seems to be working, then." He murmured quietly, continuing to eat.

Koga chuckled quietly, seeing her relief. "No problem, I hope it helps." He said with a smirk. He just hoped Ayame wouldn't go looking to start trouble.

He remained quiet, taking note of how the skin of her hand seemed to be losing its warmth. Was she cold, or was it just a chill caused by the wind? Allen did wonder, to himself, what would happen if she ever found out what he was. Some humans were more..accepting than others, after all.
His lips curved into a smile as she informed him, she wasn't busy at the current moment. "Perfect. I shall take lead, then." Allen said, a sort of cheer to his voice as he began walking. He held her hand as his feet led him home, through the park and off towards the woods marked with a thin dirt path.

Allen easily walked with her into the shade, feeling much better. "Yes, thank you." He said, offering her a small smile. The walk was quiet, and quite peaceful. Most people weren't out this early. As they walked, his eyes seemly stopped bothering him, perhaps because of the chill in the air.
He paused once they finally arrived at the park, and lifted his head in her direction some. "I've changed my mind.. Miss Kaneko, I would like to invite you to my home, as you have for me, if you're not busy." He spoke casually. Of course, he knew she had to get home before her father awoke.. He just hadn't thought of that entirely.

Allen slowly stood once she had taken his hand, and steadily followed her to the door, and then outside. He waited for her to lock the door, indicated by a tiny click he could hear, before slowly descending the stairs and followed her towards the park.
It was chilly out, but he honestly didn't mind it. Walking in the direct sun light bothered him more than the air. "Kaneko.." He spoke quietly, baring with his eyes as the pain slowly became less dull. "Could we walk in the shade please..?" Allen asked calmly. "I burn easily you see.." He said, hoping she understood. He couldn't see, but he could certainly feel the warmth.

Natalie pulled back and smiled as Sirene hugged her brother. Nathan smirked lightly and hugged her back. Natalie pouted. "Jeez~ I'm so jealous!" She giggled as she blushed, thinking about Bryan. "You two finally get together, and I get stuck day dreaming." She teased, poking Sirene in the side lightly. Nathan chuckled. "Can't hide from you." He said, kissing Sirene's cheek. Natalie smiled at the both of them, then pretended to think. "Hmm.. Who would I stand by at the wedding?" She murmured, then giggled and winked at them before swimming off to explore the bookstore some more.
Nathan sighed and shook his head a little. "My sister..and she thinks I'm weird." He chuckled.

The siblings glanced at each other briefly, before looking back at their nervous friend. Nathan smirked, and Natalie smiled while hugging Sirene. "Oh my gosh, that would so cool!" She chimed happily. Nathan nodded in agreement. "It'd be easier for us to get our lives started, if we did it together." He said, since they spent time together nearly everyday. Plus, he'd be closer to the mermaid he loved.

Allen nodded lightly as she spoke, then sat there. Waiting patiently for her to get dressed and such, so they could go. He listened to her footsteps as they sounded from different areas of the house, to another part of the house. It was rather funny how bare feet made different footsteps than feet with socks, or shoes. Depending on the person, and the shoe, it could alter the footstep completely. He stopped, and wondered why he started to think about that.. He lifted his head some when she came back, then suddenly hurried to the kitchen, and came back again.
This time, she asked if he was ready. He nodded lightly and slowly stood. "Ready as you are." He answered, wearing a small smile.

Anne shook her head lightly and forced herself back into her human form. "Well, kind of.." She murmured, running a hand through her long hair. "They get a murder case, have someone look over the files of the victims while others go and inspect the crime scene. They come back, give us- the 'science department' evidence to look over, and if it seems like a supernatural being was involved in or with the murder, they have us go with them and look at the crime scene ourselves." She explained, hoping she didn't confuse the poor girl.

Nathan chuckled as he followed her inside the massive bookstore. "I could always dad renovate your house, add a library or something." He semi-joked. None of them lived with their parents, but he still kept close contact with them, especially his father, who just so happened to be an actual carpenter/ builder. Natalie didn't really talk their father. Speaking of, Natalie was off in the mystery section humming as she swam along. She just couldn't seem to get the human boy out of her head. She picked up an interesting book and scanned through it some, before deciding she wanted it. She held it and swam back to her friend and brother. "I found a book about the legends of our kind." She chirped, smiling.
