I didn't really have any plans today, but I should definitely get my laundry folded and put away.

@Jolly: Right?! I'm not the kind of person to sit at home all the time. Otherwise I too get depressed. Heck I was getting stir crazy when I was on maternity leave, which was only 6 weeks, but still! I just feel like there's a lot more to be earned, literally and figuratively, being away from home.

@Jolly: It's just such a mess with the job market now. Even the higher paying jobs are hardly getting any nibbles where we are. You'd think with unemployment running out, people would be rushing back to work. But I think this child tax credit is keeping people home too (at least those who have several kids). I just...I'm tired of these handouts keeping people at home, but at the same time, everyone deserves a livable wage.

I'm rambling, but I hope you find help soon too! <3

I feel your pain with being chronically understaffed and not being able to do anything about it. We're in desperate need of servers for the dining room, and nobody applies, or if they do, they can't work with us because they have felonies (we do level 2 background checks because it's healthcare). I've never felt so stressed. Everyone has been pitching in for that department and we're all. So. Tired.
