I believe in ghosts.
When my maternal grandmother died, my great-aunt (her sister-in-law) was staying over at the time and we were sharing a room. She said that while I was sleeping that night, she woke up and saw a white mist hanging over me. She thinks it was my grandmother trying to say goodbye.
Actually, I did have an experience, but I don't remember it because I was so young (6 or less). My mom says that when my great-uncle (grandmother's brother) passed, she thinks I saw his spirit. His children were visiting us since we were getting ready for the funeral, and I was looking outside my grandmother's house and I said that I saw him outside. I guess I sounded so convinced that one of his children went outside to look. Of course he wasn't there, but my mom thinks I saw his spirit trying to say goodbye since he always had a soft spot for me.
Another time I was at work and an unexplained event happened. I work with the elderly in an assisted living and memory care facility. One of our residents had just passed, and a pan inexplicably fell in the culinary director's office. It was sitting perfectly secure on top of a cabinet, but then suddenly fell. We think it was our resident trying to play a prank as he left us lol.

Cold and rainy weekend sounds like the perfect kind of weekend to binge watch stuff or have a movie marathon. :o
I know I'm staying the heck away from the beach because it'll be a zoo. Probably won't go out too much because fiance is working all weekend. We'll go for a cookout at my parents' on Sunday evening, but that's about it as far as plans go.

Oooh, that expanding spray foam is so satisfying to watch lol. I hope you don't have too many critters to clear out of your attic. Attics kinda creep me out lol.

Not gonna lie, finding a bat in your house sounds kind of exciting to me lol. I guess it depends on your house's structure though. Glad it's out safely!
I gave myself a 3-day weekend this weekend, and I'm hella excited. Probably won't do much, but still! I don't get those often anymore. (When you work in healthcare, holidays don't mean you get to enjoy them like they were meant to be).

Yep lol.
Insomnia sucks though, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

@Wildfire: Thanks. <3 I feel a teeny bit better, but still pretty bleh. Hoping tomorrow I'm feeling well enough to return to work.
And thanks for the recommendation lol. Maybe sometime this year I'll try that.

I honestly can't remember the last time I slept solidly. xD At least not before I had my son. He usually sleeps through the night just fine, but I find myself waking up anyway just to check on him haha. We cosleep, and he's 3 now so out of the SIDS danger zone, but I'll still get up.

Called out of work today because I'm not feeling that great. So my agenda is trying to get well. =w=
Kayaking sounds like fun. I think I've only been once or twice but would love to try again. There's this place in Titusville that I wanna try out that does guided night kayaking because of the glowing dinoflagellates in the water. <3

@Wildfire: Ugh, I feel you on the being sick thing. My son caught something from school, and now I have his cough. I'm hella annoyed too because I feel like since he's started school, he's gotten sick like every other month, and we've all been passing it back and forth.
On the one hand, yay for his immune system. On the other...I'm sick of being sick lol.

I've never been called, and hope not to because I kinda don't want that responsibility lol. I can afford to, sure, but at the same time, the courthouse is all the way across town and the commute wouldn't be fun.
My dad was called and served once. Traffic accident, and I can't remember who exactly was at fault, but I remember thinking that case was a huge waste of time. He was retired, so couldn't even get paid for it. :L
