@Totalanimefan: Yeah, i'm sure i'll be okay learning everything, but i have a feeling i'll be really bored until then. i'm considering making my second monitor be a second monitor for my laptop because my laptop screen is like half the size of my monitors...it feels really small and cramped when i try to do jigsaw... and i already dislike the game lol But, dust bunnies and it's something i can do in my spare time.
@Wildfire: Yeah, it's a call center, but work from home. I'll be doing customer service for a frozen food delivery company that I can't mention by name because they have people scouring the internet for mentions of it. And if i say something the company doesn't necessarily like, i don't want it costing me my job. i can tell you it sounds like swans though lol

@Totalanimefan: we have hands on training next week, like on Wednesday we'll have a couple hours on the phones, so it should be interesting. right now though, the trainer had us go through a list of like 13 things to agree or acknowledge and i read fast, and am already pretty familiar with most of the things, so i just went ahead and did them all, so while everyone else is working on them, i;m on here! lol
@Wildfire: I won't really know until i'm taking calls. Once that starts i'll have an idea of if i'll like it or not.
@Totalanimefan: I do, but i just don't retain much when listening, And if i'm note taking, i retain a little more, but not nearly as much as what i retain when actually doing the thing i'm learning. I also have ADHD and an auditory processing issue, so listening is difficult anyways.
@Wildfire: I'd rather be chatting and earning dust buns than doing what i'm doing today. I actually pulled out my laptop just so i can be on Voltra! Today is the first day of training for my new job, and of course that means going through all the acknowledgements and agreements, and since it's a training class, i have to wait on 25 other people to also go through them and not all of them are fast...

@Totalanimefan: oh nice! Yeah, training with this company is like 98% modules 2% hands on. Which sucks for me cause I learn by doing.

The first day is always so boring. I'm half tempted to grab my laptop to watch big bang theory while I wait for everyone else to finish their agreements and acknowledgments.

Goodluck on the pre-exam!
@totalanimefan: morning! Time for the first day of training- there are 24 people in this particular training class. and it's on zoom, so that will be nice- i won't have to talk much!

I need to get my laptop out so i can be on Voltra throughout the day.
@KittyBeary: WEll i love it. Well done!
@Totalanimefan: yeah, i hate it. it's rediculous. Part of the reason why i did instacart shopping for a year, actually. It was basically to have something on my resume for that year i was not working. The other reason was cause i had bills to pay and covid had just hit and everyone was staying home. So i went out lol

@Totalanimefan: Oh man, right?! Or maybe they just... didn't need to work for a while. That drives me crazy. i hate that. i've had interviews where they've asked me to explain any gaps in employment, and i literally tell them I was in a situation where Employment was not a priority and was unnecessary for me to have a fulfilling life style and I spent that time focusing on myself and doing whatever made me happy. then they asked what kinds of things, and i was like, oh, just like, arts and crafts, spending time with friends and family, reading, and just generally existing and taking up space. Whatever made me happy at the time. And they were ... shocked? by my response? Like they didn't know that that was something a person could do.
@Totalanimefan: They really are. It's rediculous.
