He just...stared at the cake.
His birthdays had always been no big deal. Just a reminder of what a failure of a dragon he was.
He was lucky to get a single cookie.
He looked at the cake and tears welled in his tired eyes. He felt like he didnt deserve such a beautiful cake.

Eke was now shivering from the cold rain.
He tilted his head seeing the box and moved to the trees so theyd have cover.
"Whats going on? what was so important?" he pulled his coat closer to him trying to warm up.

He curled up but began to toss and turn not finding rykers body.
He was still too tired to wake, so eventually he just relaxed.

He suddenly sat down in the dark.
"Ive never..." he began to sob hysterically. "Ive never threatened anyone in my entire life"
