"....ah, right." Sharp replied.

"That makes sense." he said.

"And no, nothing." he told her, sitting back down.

"Good luck." he said.

"And do try not to kill him." he went on.

"He may still prove useful." he reasoned.

"...perhaps. We don't know." he sighed.

"Holding cell B." Sharp replied, lowering his hand.

"I can have someone escort you." he offered.

"I don't know how well you know this place, seeing as you've only been here a few times before." he went on.

"So, if you like, someone can take you there." he went on.

"Or you can follow the interactive map system we have installed." he added with a shrug.

"It's open!" she heard the one inside call out.

When she stepped through the door, he looked at her and nodded.

"Ah, welcome." he said, extending a hand.

"Thank you for coming." he told her.

"We're trying everything with Jenkins, and nothing's working." he said further.

"So any assistance would be greatly appreciated."

Ash just nodded.

"Cool." he replied.

"Just let me know when you've made your decision." he told her.

Jake looked at her, and sighed.

"Ah, right." he said.

"Yes, him." he said further, darting his tongue out, freezing, and then sighing.

"Sorry, knee-jerk reaction to sensing Vanessa. But, you know, nothin' you can do about family." he commented.

With that, he pressed the button to buzz her in.

"Hm." Ash muttered.

"I..." he stammered.

"Well, whatever." he then said.

"I'm sure you know what you're doing." he told her.

Inside his mind, something was screaming that what they were talking about, what was being discussed, what was being proposed... was idiotic. Stupid. Fruitless. Jumping right into the flames licking at the pan they were in.

But something was suppressing that. Shutting it down and keeping it quiet. So all he could muster was unsure agreement.

Ash was just silent as Ashley suggested this.

"....mm." he mumbled.

"Well, I mean... if there's one person in the world that would know, it IS her." he reasoned with a shrug.

"....but... well..." he then muttered, this time a little more quietly.

"You sure that's such a good idea?" he asked.

"I mean, she's YOUR family, so I guess you'd know her better than anyone else, and it IS your decision, but you know how I feel about Vanessa." he added with a heavy sigh.

"...actually, nevermind. Forget I said anything." he added quickly.

"There are no stupid ideas."

Ash just sighed.

"From what I've heard, you'd be doing him a favour." he said.

"Seems he's still an amnesiac, and miserable." he told her.

"All he knows is that image in his mind, and it's breaking him." he lamented.

"Don't get me wrong, I hate the guy, but... that seems a bit much." he then continued. "Even for Vanessa." he told her.

"He must have royally fucked up to get THIS kinda treatment."

Ash just shrugged.

"I dunno." he said.

"Just felt like doing it, I guess?" he reasoned.

"Are you complaining?" he then asked with a small smirk and a light chuckle.

"Just concentrate on recovering still." he went on.

"Any idea when you might visit Chris?" he asked.

"Huh?" Ash asked.

"I... no reason?" he responded.

"I mean... well... you liked it, the kids liked it." he said.

"I've said no a lot." he went on.

"So... I mean, should I not have?" he then asked her.

"You wanted them made up, so I made them up." he then said with a small shrug.

"Simple as that."

Ash set to work making the batter, but paused just as Ashley left.

"....." he was silent, before shaking his head slightly.

"Uh..." he stammered.

He then looked to be trying to think about something, before just shrugging.

"Whatever." he said.

"She wants corn dogs, she gets corn dogs." he mumbled.

"......" Ash was silent for a moment.

"Ngh." he grunted, before sighing.

"Ah... well..." he started to say, before pausing.

"Yeah. Sure." he told her.

"Might as well get started." he muttered, making his way to the counter.

"Need to do up the batter."

Ash just sighed.

"Yeah, of course." he said.

He then proceeded to grab the drink she asked for, and give it to her.

"Here." he said.

"...guess I got a bit TOO into that spar..." he admitted.

"I didn't intend to actually draw blood, especially since you're still on the mend." he went on.

"Man, Cass would kill me if she heard of this." he then muttered further.

"Ah." Ryker responded.

"He's... okay." he said.

"Apparently coffee doesn't agree with him, but Aly made up something that countered it." he told her.

"So... yeah, he seems okay." he went on.

"More or less." he continued.

"...I mean, given his circumstances, he's doing quite well."

"Ah! Shit!" Ash cursed.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry!" he apologised.

"I didn't mean for it to get THAT serious." he admitted, shaking his head slightly.

"Look, lemme make it up to you." he then said.

"Not sure how, but... lemme make up for this." he went on.

"Just name it." he told her.

"Anything."
