The door was answered by Ash after a few moments.

"Oh, hey Mom." he greeted her, stepping out of the way so she could enter.

"Weren't you just here?" he then asked, thinking about it.

"You forget something?" he asked her.

"Or is something up?"

"Duly noted." Sharp responded.

"Thank you once again." he said.

"If you wish to see your niece, I can let her know you're here." he then offered. "Or you can surprise her with your visit." he said further.

"But if you wish to leave, then happy travels." he wished her.

"Ah." Sharp said, before handing her a business card.

"If you can get her home address, would you mind letting me know, whether it be via email or call?" he asked her.

"It may be best if we can meet her at her home, as opposed to barging in on her workplace." he reasoned.

"Other than that, leave the rest to us." he said.

"We'll make sure things don't get out of hand."

Sharp continued to tick and type away at his computer, before looking at Rowena and nodding.

"Don't worry." he said.

"I understand her need for the time off. Safety of all and such." he told her.

"I can have someone out there for the weekend, no issues. Probably Friday evening, actually." he said further.

"If she fits our criteria, then it will be beneficial for us, as well as her." he continued.

"Thank you for coming to me about this."

Sharp listened to what Rowena had to say, and it seemed like he was thinking about something. Hard.

She could almost hear the gears turning and grinding, as he pieced together a few things... until she saw the telltale small expression of something akin to 'Eureka'.

"Ah!" he exclaimed, before going to his computer and typing something in.

"If my memory is correct... we're actually still looking for..." he mumbled, trailing off a bit, before stopping.

"We are!" he declared.

"I do believe we have JUST the position for her, here. Assuming she fulfils the needed requirements, of course." he told her. "We are as benevolent as we can be, but we're not a charity."

Sharp had been looking at some papers, but looked up when Rowena made her presence known to him.

"Ah, hello." he responded with a smile.

"Please, have a seat." he offered her.

"Can I offer you something to drink?" he asked.

"Coffee, please." Rowena answered.

Sharp nodded, before pouring her a cup from the pot that was nearby, and handing it towards her, along with a spoon, some sugar, and creamers.

"Now, let us get down to the meat of this visit." he said.

"How can I be of assistance?" he asked her.

Jake just smirked.

"Yeah, I've heard stories from her granddaughter." he told her.

"But all right then." he said.

"Door's unlocked. Go on through." he informed her.

"And anyone can help if you DO get turned around or whatever." he then said. "We hire a good bunch of people." he added with a small smile.

Just as the man was about to say something, the buzz was answered.

"Is this about Rowena?" Sharp's voice asked.

"...yes. She's here." the man responded.

"Send her in, Jake." Sharp then said.

"Very well." Jake replied, before ending the 'call' and buzzing Rowena in.

"I assume you know the way to his office?" he asked her.

The man looked at Rowena, above his newspaper, before she heard some 'sst'ing sounds.

"Hm." he mumbled.

"All right." he said.

"I'll buzz him, see if he's in his office." he told her.

"What is the nature of your business with him?" he then asked.

Lindsay was silent, before nodding.

"I intend to talk to Rene." he told her.

"Not sure if he'll be able to do much." he sighed.

"But we have to try." he reasoned.

"And if you can find someone able to help in this short a time, that would be amazing." he added, taking a bite of the brownie he'd been given.

"....you'd never guess these were diabetic friendly." he complimented her.

"....it's Averie." Lindsay responded.

"There's a full moon coming, and we both know she needs time off to stop any sort of incident from happening." he explained.

"...her boss isn't having it this time." he then said.

"He's stonewalling it. He refuses to let her have the time off." he told her.

"...and Averie can't afford to lose her job by just ditching work." he mumbled further.

"I don't know what to do. I can try to force the issue, but by the time it'll be effective, it'll be too late."

Lindsay looked over towards his mother, and sighed.

"....yes." he replied.

"I do." he said.

He then collapsed into one of the chairs in his office, and place his fingers on his forehead.

"Sorry if my exclamation startled you." he apologized.

"Things are... stressful and hectic right now."

Lindsay gathered his things and made his way to the station that Averie worked at.

It didn't go well. Charles shot him down time and time again, and refused to listen to reason. In the end, Lindsay had to leave before HE did something rash, thus endangering his practice, and his patients.

As he left, he told Averie he would think of something. However, he wasn't sure WHAT.

When he arrived back at his home, he slammed the papers he had down on his desk.

"DAMN IT!" he cursed loudly, not caring if anyone heard him at the moment.

There was silence for a moment, before Lindsay just sighed.

"I'll stop by in an hour." he told her.

"See about pushing this through." he said.

"Because I KNOW you need this. I know this is necessary for your mental and emotional well-being." he continued.

"Don't worry, I'll make him see reason again." he then assured her.

"...or, at the very least, get him to agree to it to make me go away." he then added.
