weekend was meh. cleaned the house, went to the store, got sick... that's about it.

Most of our stuff they don't mess with too much after they get used to it. This doesn't go for anything that dangles or involves live plants, however.

They're nice; we couldn't resist them. Those and the pine cones. This was our first year together, so we kinda picked everything out at the same store in one go, but they did have some pretty good stuff.

Cats + Christmas is a... challenging combination.

Luckily, ours hate the texture of our tree and thus have not tried to climb it or bat at the ornaments. One of them still occasionally gets caught chewing on the branches, but she hasn't pulled anything off yet. Mostly they just rumple up the tree skirt.

one thing i like about this time of year: seeing people's lights/decorations. especially going around the neighborhood to find That House, the one that looks like a holiday wonderland and makes walking around in the cold worth it. one day, when we have an actual house and more money, i would love to be That House...

dying for some plaid shirts/jackets! i wear 'em practically every day ;v;
preferably something open that can be worn over other shirts, but also having one that's buttoned wouldn't hurt. a version with halfway rolled up sleeves would also be nice.
