I think menewsha let you use multiple poses, but I haven't been on there in years, so I could be wrong.

looking through some of my old avatars, i realized i had a few more items made than i thought. also had workman's gloves, grungy jeans with the flannel tied around the waist, and a troll nose... alas none of my multipose designs got through, at least not that i can recall.

@Aisukohi: Being able to wear more than one pose per item is a huge blessing ;v;
I remember the name Dernier Cri but I can't remember what the item was.

I still have a few of my Ernya avatars saved in a folder on my computer, as well as a couple of other avatar sites I no longer use. I browse through em from time to time; sometimes they give me ideas for art and stuff.

layering on Ernya was pretty good for the most part. couldn't use multiples of everything, but there was a lot less "putting on X automatically removes Y", which I liked very much.
also wow i just looked through my folders and saw a blank ernya base and... i forgot they looked like that lmao i remember them looking more similar to voltra's bases than they were


@Aisukohi: hard to remember the names of them, but i had a couple of hairstyles and facial features end up in the marbles, i know one was model mouth.. and there was a jacket that had tails and striped sleeves that got in the shops. not sure what else, if anything. my memories of ernya are fading...

oof, I definitely struggled with their avatar contests. i think mine got recognized once in all the years I was there; it almost always went to the "matching clutter" crowd iirc

@Aisukohi: Same... feels like I entered most of Ernya's contests. Got a couple of items made, which was really cool tbh but mostly just smaller single pose stuff. i've considered just making a thread and making item designs in there, regardless of whether there's any chance of them being used, just for fun. i like designing things.

true, item suggestion thread is also a thing. i'm always afraid to post in there cause there's so many things and i have no idea what's been suggested already at this point...

tbh this is something i miss about ernya. we got the chance to submit donation item designs with multiple poses, which is another big reason i have trouble with item designs on this site. one pose is kinda limiting.

i try to get a bundle every time we get new ones; i like to have everything, whether I have immediate plans to use it or not. but I definitely care more about some than others...
tbh i'd love it if we had more broadly-themed item design contests once in a while. i have plenty of ideas, but none that ever suit the contests we do have.

@Aisukohi: yeah, me either. I keep forgetting that one recent CI even exists; I haven't used it yet at all ;v;

true, nothing wrong with horror being humorous. that's definitely my thing lol

at last if few enough people make item designs, that makes it easier to win :U

the theme for the item design is also a tough one... like i can't think of many things that suit that theme that i'd actually be super interested in having, myself.

the two sentence thing made it kinda tough for me cause they read like jokes with a simple setup and punchline when i try to write them DX
