Ooh, I dig it. I'm trying to force myself to draw landscapes, because I usually only draw figures, so its good to see I'm not the only one!

Don't ever beat yourself up for standing up for yourself. Ever.
First, access to a bathroom is actually a universal human right. There are actual laws about that sort of thing. If it were a once in a while occurrence, that would be understandable, but to have your rights as a human consistently denied... well, that's worth getting a little upset over. But you handled the situation a lot more diplomatically than I would have. Then to get berated for what you did after that, as though you were in the wrong for wanting access to your own bathroom? That's not ok. There is no good way to react when someone is yelling at you. Adults talk things out, and if you're not even given that chance, you can't be expected to be the only person keeping a level head. I'm sorry you had to go through that, and I hope you get to spend some time around people who respect you and treat you right after all that nonsense.
Also, the fact that you're worrying about the kind of mother you would be tells me that you would make a great one.

@Lilykin: Wolfenoot was a holiday invented by a 7 year old, and it took off across the internet. Its a November holiday focused on celebrating canines and those who love them. L33tmas was a holiday on the show Video Game High School where ypu celebrate every holiday at once. Its on September 17th, though, so I'll probably still need a December celebration...

I also never ever want to celebrate Christmas as a family if I can help it (I'm not Christian, I hate that its a capitalistic scheme to boost sales during a certain time of year, but most of all because every holiday after Halloween marks a death in my family so boo to Thanksgiving too.) but I don't want my daughter to feel left out. I also know her extended family will want to shower her with gifts just as much as I will, though, so thats a tough one for me. I figure if I buffer it with enough fun other-holidays it will work out. My holidays of choice are: Wolfenoot and L33tmas.

I'm a new home owner for two or so years, so I'm going to be handing out candy until my daughter is old enough to take out. I love seeing everyone's costumes and staying warm in the comfort of my home. Horror movies will be watched, but that is my jam even when it isn't Halloween :p

I've heard of a thing called squatters rights, and I don't know much more about them than the fact that they exist... but I figured I'd throw it out there. I also don't know how many people would be swayed by sympathy, but have you told the management that you just got out of an abusive situation and need a bit of time to get on your feet? I have my doubts about landlords having any sort of heart, but perhaps its worth a shot..

Hello magical friends!
I'm Glume, if you can't tell by the username :p
I'm a chaote, I like the term sorceress because it sounds fancy.
I'm an old lady, turning 36 tomorrow, and I've been studying the occult for a long time. I dabble in a lot of magical practices and love learning about the mythologies and beliefs of different cultures. I once used a sigil to summon $3000 under a mattress. I know so many different ways to make sigils, I'd love to share some when I get the chance.
@0v7: I've been totally interested in tea making, I might have to pick your brain soon.
