I mean, technically my mannequin does have legs and feet, but I was lazy and just essentially pantsed her to get the rainbow skirt on without the fuss of taking off the other one. And thanks! I love them a lot, but haven't actually worn them for a couple of years. They're not practical footwear for either of my jobs and I never leave my apartment except for work.

@mica: Lol. Thanks. I have pretty much everything figured out, I just have to make it all. So much stuff!

I made it yesterday after work! There's a lot of flaws and my sewing is definitely not a straight line, but most of the mistakes are on the waistband and I can hide them easily.

@mica: Lol. I can't draw well enough to be ble to get a good concept to work off of. So I'm mainly just winging (ha!) it.
Ah, I have probably a good 4 or 5 pairs of fingerless gloves. They just always end up being too pretty for me to sell.

*sigh* that reminds me, I still need to buy the last recolors from the event...

@mica: My costume wil hopefully be a pretty cool punk rainbow fairy. Just gotta make some fingerless gloves, dream catcher wings, and glow vials to hang from the wings. Also, can't decide if I want to do the wings with a rainbow frame and black inner part or black wrapping with rainbow inner.

@mica: It is! Rainbow tulle with a black lining! And itt for Halloween. My first tulle skirt attempt was way too poofy and would have been a work hazard.
The waistband is just a little too big, but I can possibly fix it. Or just pin it.
Also, I think I managed to strain my back yesterday.

@apollo im burning: It is Knit Picks brand, I have no current plans for the exra yarn. Maybe some fingerless gloves, or I might use some of it to mae stuffed animals. And, I haven't fully measured it yet, I'll do that once it's finished, but it's probably around 60" wide at the top. And probably long enough that I could hide completely under it.

@apollo im burning: Ooh...pretty awesome! I have a pattern for a scalemail bra. Haven't attempted it yet though.

@mica: I wouldn't say I can sew. I am just learning and the skirt I just made was my first project. Ever.
