"Bye Takashi!" Mitsukuni waved goodbye and hopped out of the car. He made sure he grabbed Usa-Chan and hopped away into his house. First thing he did was go up to his room to put his things away, then went to wash his hands and get ready for dinner.

She should have asked for some contact information. No, it was much too soon and she still didn't know them completely. Besides, they probably weren't comfortable getting too close either, and she didn't blame them. "Mia, could you set the table please?" Her mother said to her. "Yes mother." Mia answered, setting her pen down and getting up to set the kitchen table.

This was bad. Hikaru took her hand in his and squeezed gently. "Hey, you're going to be okay. Just remember, were going to our house where you'll be safe." He told her, wondering if that would even help her. Hikaru looked at his brother who was busy driving. "We're almost there." Kaoru said, glancing at them in the rearview mirror. "Alice? Just breathe okay?" Kaoru said, focusing on the road once more. Hikaru frowned and hugged her to his chest, afraid that something was happening and he coudln't help.

The cart felt a little heavy with the boxes of litter inside. It didn't bother Clint though, he pushed it with ease. There were a few people with their pets on leashes. A leash! Cats didn't need those right? He had passed by the small section of clothes and frowned. He never saw the appeal to that and he didn't think that the animals liked it very well either.

"Huh?" Clint looked back at her and stopped. Why did he have a bad feeling about this? "Alright then. I'll be over there after I find the brush." He answered. He watched her walk away until she slipped into the aisle where the toys were. With a bad feeling in his gut, Clint continued on, walking into the aisle where the grooming supplies were. They had shampoos and stuff to protect against flees. He picked up a bottle of shampoo and stared at it for a while, wondering if he should get it or not. Well cats needed baths, but Nimbus was so small, a bath might get him sick. He didn't know. He got the shampoo anyway. They could use it once Nimbus was older.

He reached the brushes and started to look at them all carefully. As if it even mattered. They all looked the same and felt the same. He grabbed a wooden one with soft plastic bristles with the rounded ends and placed it inside. Then he looked back at the other things, wondering if they needed any of it. They needed a cat scratching post. That would be with the toys he figured.

Kaneko felt her face go red with blush when she heard his words and when she felt his thumb on the top of her hand. He was always so kind to her and gentle. She knew he'd never hurt her, she trusted him completely. "As I you, Sir Allen." She answered. Kaneko shook her head and smiled warmly. "I will always worry about you Allen, because I love you with all my heart. When I worry, it's because I care about you. If I didn't worry about you...it would mean I didn't care." She sat there in silence for a moment before speaking again. "Has the tea helped any? It is supposed to help with the headache. If you have a fever still tomorrow, I shall make a tea to help with that. I read of one here in the book and I think we have the herbs we need for it too."

Mia called her father who came and picked her up from the school's front gates. They got home and while her parents worked on dinner, she busied herself in starting on her homework. Her mind did wander though, she would think of the two cousins, wondering what they would do during their weekend. She believed they did very extravagant things. Maybe the club threw weekend parties, it was possible.

Kaoru sat behind the wheel, waiting. Hikaru though noticed something seemed wrong. "Alice? Are you alright?" He asked and frowned. "Kaoru I'm going to sit here with Alice. Take us home." He said and closed the door then walked around and got in on the other side. Again, he closed the door and put his seatbelt on. "We're ready." Kaoru nodded and after he put his seatbelt on, he started driving to their house.

"A brush." Clint repeated. Did the kitten need a brush though? Did kittens shed a lot? He didn't think so but maybe Nimbus would enjoy having his fur brushed regardless. "Alright. Where are the...brushes.." He said to no one, looking around at the signs of the aisles. One of them had to have brushes right? "Grooming! Over there." He said, pointing in a direction. His eyes landed on her. "A feather toy? Yeah, we can. Come on." He told her, leading her to the grooming supplies where he started to look for a good brush.

Kaneko thought about this. A human helping a vampire. That seemed unlikely. She was helping him though, still, many more humans would rather kill vampires than help them. So in her mind, she came to the conclusion that he too was a vampire. Maybe he had lived with Allen in the manor at some point before leaving him alone. But why come back now? His voice pulled her away from her thoughts. "Sounds like a good idea." She just hoped he didn't get too close to this stranger no matter how kind he was. Call her paranoid.

"Oh, it's 'Medicinal Properties in Plants.'" She answered with a grin on her face that slowly changed to a shy smile. "I wanted to read it a little since you're sick at the moment. I thought maybe I'd learn how to better help you get better."
