"....uh..." Ty muttered.

".....hm." Zeke mumbled.

"Because he's not worth it?" Ash suggested.

"Seriously. You plan to go down that road? Just for THAT thing?" he asked her, gesturing to Cedric.

"....heh." Cedric chuckled.

"It WOULD be fitting for you." he told Vicki.

"After all, you ARE a member of the cursed Fyranes."

Everyone seemed to be drawn to the knocking on the door, before Ash turned to Hal.

"Unblock the door!" he told the djinn.

"NOW." he said further.

"....please?" he then added.

Hal just sighed and shook his head.

"Terrific..." he muttered, before he flicked his wrist, and the doors swung open.

"....you!" Cedric exclaimed when he saw who it was.

"I see." Jake replied.

"I won't ask." he told her, as they approached a set of doors.

"Here." he said.

"I'm gone." he said further.

"I want to be as far away from this as possible." he reasoned.

"Good luck." he finished, before he essentially hobbled away.

"............." Jake was silent, before sighing.

"Right." he said.

He then got out from behind the desk, locked the front doors, and made his way inside with her.

"This way." he told her.

"I know better than to get between an angry Fyrane and their target." he continued.

"Kiah's taught me that."

"................................" Jake was silent as his tongue darted out.... quickly, and barely.

"Y... yes ma'am." he replied.

"Kiah has spoken of you." he went on, pressing the button.

"Cafeteria." he told her.

"But the doors should be locked." he then warned.

Aly responded to this by texting Ryker, telling him what was happening, and where they were going.

Sure enough, when the doctors had finished examining Eke, and was laying in a hospital bed, hooked up to some machines and IVs, Aly and Ryker were sitting at the side of his bed.

"....damn it." Ryker said.

"This is not fair." he growled.

"This shouldn't be happening to Eke."

"........." Jake was silent as he saw the young woman before him.

"Ah..." he stammered.

"L-listen..." he stuttered further.

"We're currently shut down for the moment." he told her. "Dealing with some issues." he went on.

"Please. You'll be allowed in soon." he then said.

"...but perhaps you need medical assistance?" he asked, noting how rough she looked.

"No, you shut up with that!" Cedric snapped back.

"You're a vampire, so prey on mortals and suck their blood!" he told her.

"Banshees should kill people by shrieking at them! No matter what!" he went on.

"Zombies are mindless and eat brains!" he continued.

"Why do you all insist on acting against your real natures!? WHY!?"

He responded by throwing the phone onto the ground, smashing it.

"GOD. DAMN IT." he cursed.

"Damn it all to hell!" he cursed further.

"WHY does nobody see the beauty of my plans!?" he exclaimed.

"I'm just trying to get this world back on course!"

"............" Cedric was silent, before growling.

"No." he said.

"Impossible." said further.

He then took out his phone, and grimaced as he answered it.

"What." he answered, clearly unimpressed.

"Is that so." Cedric replied.

"I find that hard to believe." he said.

"I made sure things were hidden well." he went on.

"I'm sure you're bluffing with that." he said further.

"Or are you saying the Triad actually saved a mage?" he asked.

The paramedics responded immediately by making sure he was laying in a position that would deter coughing, and placing a sort of respiratory mask over his mouth and nose.

"Just concentrate on breathing." one told him.

"We're almost at the hospital, and we'll make sure you're all right." they assured him further.

"Please don't leave me let, Eke." was all Aly managed to whisper.

The paramedics were immediately checking his arm, and Aly cried a little more.

"...Eke..." she said.

"You jumped off a building and flew into the forest." she told him.

"An undead dragon was there." she went on.

"...Eke, you were acting like you were someone else..."

Cedric looked back to Aedan, and shook his head.

"Be condescending all you want." he told her.

"What I have set in motion cannot be stopped. Not while I live." he said.

"I had initially intended to play a more active role in setting the denizens of this planet back on the right course, but it seems that YOU all have decided that you just HAD to intervene." he muttered.

"Look, there's nothing you can do, now." he told her.

"It's only a matter of time before the Fyrane goes on a rampage." he said. "By my calculations, the deed that will start it has already been done." he shrugged.
