"I can tell it's you." Jake responded.

"I can also smell Zachary's nervousness." he went on.

"Like wary prey." he said further, causing Zach to freeze up.

"And now the prey has realized he is in the sights of the predator." Jake then added, which caused Zach to almost panic.

"....excitable sort, isn't he?" the guard inquired with a chuckle.

"......oh." Zach replied, as they entered the security check area.

And Rylie saw someone behind a newspaper.

Which was when Zach heard a weird 'sst' sound.

"....hey, Rylie." Jake greeted the woman.

"I assume that's Zachary?" he then asked.

Zach nodded as he grabbed his things.

"I'm ready." he said.

"And... a small hiccup?" he asked.

"Like... like what?" he asked further, as they approached the building.

"Am I going to be in trouble?" he then inquired, and she could see he was getting progressively more nervous and uneasy.

"I don't want to cause trouble here..." he said quietly.

Zach did as he was told, and sure enough, it happened.

"Woah!" he exclaimed again, as Jeff chuckled and started the vehicle.

A decent drive later, they pulled into the parking lot of a large office-like building, and Zach looked out the window.

"The Unit?" he asked.

"The Unit." Jeff confirmed.

"Sharp's waiting for you both." he told them.

Zach was looking at the spread they had, wide-eyed.

"Woooooah." he said.

"This is even better than first class on the plane!" he commented.

"Just... wow!" he exclaimed.

"Sure, I could eat." he then told her.

"All this is for us?" he then asked, not wanting to take anything he wasn't allowed to.

The one referred to as 'Jeff' merely sighed in response.

"Starting to." he said. "Maybe another week or so before things normalize." he continued. "Well... as close to normal as things can possibly get." he then clarified.

"Thanks for asking." he said further with a small smile.

"At any rate, everyone get in and buckle up." he then told them, to which Zach promptly did so, while Jeff put the luggage in the trunk.

"Feel free to help yourselves to the refreshments and food." he finished.

Ryker opened his mouth to say something, but then stopped.

"I... uh..." he stammered.

".......hang on." he said, looking around.

"I... I've forgotten as well, admittedly." he sheepishly told Eke.

"But I THINK we're in late May... early June...?" he reasoned, thinking about it.

Zach nodded when Rylie said what she did.

"All right." he said.

"Thank you." he said further.

With that, he got comfortable, and within the next hour, Rylie saw him drift off to sleep, only waking up briefly when they were served a meal. But he went back to sleep almost right after.

The time had passed, and when they had landed, Rylie woke him up. They exited the plane, gathered their things, and when they made their way outside the airport, they saw someone standing by a rather lavish limo-style cab, with Rylie and Zach's names on a sign they were holding.

"...for... for us?" he asked Rylie, seemingly stunned by the quality of the ride.

Zach blinked a couple of times.

"Uh... all right." he said.

"That's... hm." he mumbled, thinking about it.

"I have no more questions right now." he told her.

"I might fall asleep during the fight, however." he went on.

"Flying makes me drowsy." he then admitted.

"Right, a fairy." Zach responded.

"Sorry if that was insensitive." he apologized.

"But... that's a good story." he then said.

"Kind of a feel-good story, I suppose." he continued.

"I'm glad things worked out for you, you seem really nice." he told her further.

"...so... what should I expect at this 'Unit'?" he then inquired.

Again, Ryker smiled.

"Well, then is that good?" he asked.

"I'm not sure, to be honest." he admitted.

"Do you want to... hang around this area?" he asked. "Or keep moving?" he asked further.

"Is there anywhere in this world you'd like to see?"

Zach became silent once more.

"I... I see." he said.

"Well... that's... good... I guess...?" he said further, clearly unsure of himself.

"Um... so... how did... you come to work for where you do?" he then asked.

"I mean, why do you work for this Sharp, and how did you come to do it?" he clarified.

"A reaper is... a... unique person to get a job somewhere."

"Beats the crap outta me." Ryker responded.

"I suppose that's up to you." he said.

"You were the one with the ultimate goal and such, what do you intend to do with the information that you have learned?" he asked him.

"I'm pretty much still drifting along my life." he went on.

"If there's anything I can do to help you, then I'll do it, and you know it." he added with a small point and a chuckle.

Sharp had read the email sent back, and laughed to himself.

"That's our Rylie, all right." he said, shaking his head and smiling.

Meanwhile, Zach thought for a moment when Rylie asked her question.

"...um... you said you're akin to a reaper." he said.

"Do.. does that mean you actually collect souls?" he asked her.

"And if so, what souls do you collect?"
