When she found the place, she sat and waited.

She was unsure how long she was waiting, but the doctor was the first to emerge. It seemed that Ash and Lindsay were still caught up in... catching up.

The doctor looked around, before seeing Casey sitting there.

"Ah." he said, stepping forward.

"Is her father anywhere around?" he asked her.

Ash and Lindsay looked at each other, before Lindsay looked at Casey.

"We will be back soon." he told her.

"And... I may have some questions for you." he said. "Specifically, about YOUR familial relations." he added.

Ash just shook his head.

"If you're sure about this, Casey." he said, before leaving once she confirmed it again.

Lindsay was silent for a moment, before giving her the information she requested.

"...thank you." he then said.

"I mean, you have no reason to do this." he said further.

"You just met me, and all you know of me is that Ash and I are brothers." he continued.

"But still... thank you." he repeated.

Ash was silent as Casey made her suggestion, before sighing.

"She IS right." he said to Lindsay.

"I know." Lindsay replied.

"I just hope Kalin will be all right." he commented further, getting to his feet.

"...Kalin?" Ash asked.

"Yeah." Lindsay said. "She was a hard-luck case, with a bright future ahead of her, that needed to be nurtured." he explained. "I couldn't NOT do something." he reasoned further.

"Y... yeah." Ash stammered.

"We're... we're brothers." he said.

"Lindsay, what are you doing here?" he then asked his brother. "We'll backtrack as we go, but what are you doing HERE, specifically." he asked again.

"...my adoptive daughter was in an accident." Lindsay replied.

"I'm here because I'm worried silly about her." he added, his concern heavy and thick in his tone.

The man was silent as she said this.

"....Ash...?" he asked.

"As in... Ashley? Despite being a male?" he asked her.

Before she could answer, she heard him call to her from a bit down the hall.

"Sorry!" he said, as he got closer.

"Had to use the wash..." he started to say, before trailing off and pausing, looking at the man she'd been talking to.

".....................Lindsay?"

Seeing as this is a known issue, I don't think any real further discussion is needed here. So I'll be locking this topic.

Since this is a known bug, in the known bug thread, I don't think any further discussion is warranted her. So I'll lock this thread.

"Hm?" the man asked.

"A brother?" he asked her.

"Well... yes. Yes, I do." he said.

"Why do you ask?" he asked her further.

At the same time, as he looked at Casey, he couldn't help but see some familiarity in her as well. He wondered if she had a sister. But he wasn't going to ask right now.

He would at least wait until she answered HIS question.

"Terribly sorry." she heard the man respond.

"Here." he said, handing her her glasses.

When she put them on, and the world came into focus again, she saw the man before her.

He looked just like Ash. But bigger. And bulkier. And with different coloured hair.

And he looked extremely concerned.

"......." the doctor was silent as he heard this.

"It's all right." he replied.

"I was about to do my usual mana scan, but it can wait." he told them. "You're free to do one if you like." he said further, before turning to Casey.

"Do excuse me." he said to her.

"Duty calls." he finished, before leaving, and speaking with the nurse as he left.

As he did, Casey swore she heard a name... or part of a name... '-alin Kic-'

The doctor blinked a couple of times when they heard the footsteps.

"....mmm." he mumbled, sighing.

"Seems someone's coming this way." he said.

Sure enough, a nurse stepped into the room.

"Doctor Calder, you are urgently needed." they told him.

"Calm down, what's going on?" the doctor asked, making his way towards the nurse.

"I'm going to take a bubble of water and push it into your chest." the doctor responded.

"It will then allow your mana to pass through it, and I will monitor said mana, to see if there are any abnormalities or red flags present." he explained further.

"And we go from there." he said.

"I assure you, it's painless." he went on.

"...though you MAY feel some discomfort. That's natural." he added.

"Well, that's good." Ash replied, as the door opened again, and a slender doctor sporting glasses and green hair stepped inside.

"Awake, I see." he commented.

"From what I hear, you're feeling all right." he told her.

"Any abnormalities or pain?" he asked.

"Just a headache." Casey responded.

"Yeah, that's normal." the doctor replied, checking up on her charts and taking her vitals.

"Seems all is well." he said.

"I just want to do a quick test of your mana before I greenlight your release." he then told her.
