"Food it is, then." Lindsay chuckled.

"We'll find a place nearby." he told her.

"....I'm glad the paperwork went through." he then said.

"I hope you'll be happy living with me." he said to her.

"I'll do my best to provide you the life you deserve."

Again, Lindsay blushed.

"Mm... I-indeed." he said, before clearing his throat.

"Anyway!" he exclaimed.

"We need to get you some more everyday clothing." he told her.

"We should also grab a bite to eat." he said.

"Which do you want to do first?" he asked her.

"We shall." Lindsay responded.

With that, they said their goodbyes to Jaden, and left the boutique. They walked down the street a bit, before Lindsay sighed.

"See?" he asked.

"He's a good guy." he told her.

"He's just a little... assertive." he muttered.

"What did YOU think of him?" he then asked her.

"Of course." Jaden responded with a smile.

"Lindsay, her clothes should be done by next month." he then told Lindsay.

"Appreciate it immensely." Lindsay said.

"Any time." Jaden said.

"Oh, and here." Jaden then said to Kalin, handing her his business card.

"In case you need to contact me for whatever reason." he explained.

"You flatter me." Jaden responded, as Lindsay approached.

"Thanks, Jaden." he said.

"Anytime, Linds." Jaden responded with a smile and a wink.

"I'll have the bag delivered to you." he told Kalin.

"We should grab some more things for you." Lindsay then said to her.

"There you go." Jaden replied with a wink.

"Pretty much that. I'm just fascinated by it all." he said further.

"Anyway, I can have your bag ready for you in a week or so." he told her.

"Made to your liking, of course." he said.

"There anything else while you're here?" he asked.

Jaden raised his eyebrow a bit, and smirked.

"I know what you're thinking." he told Kalin.

"But I actually want to be a magician." he informed her. "I've been learning some things as a matter of interest, and that world just seems to draw me in." he said further.

"Specifically, the world of Mind-Freaks." he went on.

"They fascinate me, and I can't help but think that freaking people out and shocking them would be fun." he added.

"Pah!" Jaden exclaimed.

"Lindsay always gets a discount, here!" he told her.

"And because it's helping a child such as yourself... which, I can tell, you had a hard go of it before running into him..." he went on, smirking. "...it'll be discounted even further." he informed her.

"He's a soft heart as well!" Lindsay called over, having heard that.

"I know what it's like to be on one's own." Jaden told Kalin, his tone far more serious now. "Now, I'm willing to bet my circumstances were different, but I know what can happen when one doesn't have any place to go." he continued. "So I do what I can." he told her further.

"...truth be told, I'm thinking of actually turning this into a hobby, and my hobby into my career." he then admitted to her.

"A bag?" Jaden asked.

"Of course." he told her.

"Hmmm." he then mumbled, thinking about something.

"A mage school, I assume?" he asked.

"Of course." Kalin replied.

"I'll make it in the same Gothic Steampunk style, and make it so that it'll be more useful than a standard bag." Jaden then said to her.

"Give you the maximum amount of space." he added with a wink.

Jaden's eyes seemed to light up when she said that.

"Wonderful!" he said.

"The Gothic look is always fashionable!" he told her. "And some Steampunk will be a welcome challenge to add." he reasoned further.

"Anyway, let's get some designs mocked up." he commented.

And so they did. Lindsay was shooed away, and they worked on several things, with Jaden showing her what the finished products would look like on his laptop screen.

"All these look all right to you?" he asked.

Jaden started to walk off, with Kalin following.

As she said what she did, he laughed in response.

"Ah, a client that knows what they like!" he said.

"You make my life so much easier!" he commented.

"So, what kind of style are we looking for?" he asked her.

"She needs some nice clothing for special and formal occasions." Lindsay told Jaden.

"Oh, of course!" Jaden responded.

"Come on." he told Kalin. "We need to take some measurements, find out what you like for colours and fabrics, and then get to making up some mockups." he told her further.

"Essentially, you can pick your own style."

Lindsay just sighed as Kalin said what he did, essentially poking the fire... metaphorically speaking.

"I'm not the committing type." Lindsay replied.

"Oh, but you DO know how to show a guy a good time." Jaden commented, causing Lindsay to blush a little.

"W-well... y-yes, I suppose." he admitted.

"Oh, don't you worry yourself over it." Jaden then said. "I'm not wanting to settle down just yet, either." he reasoned, before looking at Kalin.

"He has a heart of gold to go with those steel muscles, doesn't he?" he asked her.

"Now... I'm sure he's here to get YOU something. What is it?" he asked her further.

Jaden looked at Kalin for a moment, before getting down from Lindsay's arms.

"Oooh, you have a sassy attitude." he commented.

"I LIKE women with some fire in them." he said.

"And yes, I am Jaden." he confirmed, kneeling down gallantly and taking her hand, as though he were about to either propose, or kiss it as though she were royalty.

"Lindsay, why didn't you TELL me you had a daughter?" he then asked the taller man.

"I've very recently adopted her." Lindsay responded.

"Ohhh, that's so sweet!" Jaden replied in a little bit of a lovey-dovey tone.
