"Well, if you can, you can. If not, no big deal." he said.

"Odds are we can get this out of the way before you need to head into surgery." he told her.

"Regardless, let me know what Rene says and all that." he went on.

"I'm going to head to the school."

The staff member proceeded to lead them to the office, where the boy's parents had been called, and they were currently calling Andrew.

When Andrew received the call, he sighed.

"I'll be there." he said.

"And I'll try and get Anna there as well." he told them, before hanging up.

He then sighed, and called Anna's cell phone.

"Sorry to bother you while on break." he said when she answered.

"But our presence is required at Luke and Lily's school, in the principal's office."

"Save it." the man responded.

"You two. Principal's office. Now." he told them.

"Parents are being called as we speak." he continued.

"K." was all Luke responded with.

"Tell your stories when everyone's gathered." the staff member then said.

"I'm just here to get you to the office." he told them further, before looking around slightly.

"....but off the record, I'd be proud of you if I were your father." he whispered candidly.

Luke was about to say something, when he noticed an adult making their way towards the two of them.

To which he just sighed.

"Looks like Mister Trayer's already coming to get us." he said.

He then sighed again, and rose to his feet.

"Might as well get this over with." he said.

"I'll be dragged into this as well. Who knows what story those guys fed the staff..."

Luke just nodded in response.

"Yeah..." he said.

He then looked at his sister, and smiled.

"Thanks." he said to her.

"They've never gotten physical before." he went on.

"They usually just say whatever, and leave."

Luke was silent for a moment, and sighed.

"...maybe." he said.

"But they're right." he commented.

"I AM a wuss." he told her.

"I avoid conflict, I hide from bullies, I spend all my time with flowers..." he listed off.

"And now you're going to get in trouble because of that." he said further.

"Because you KNOW Mom and Dad are going to be called into the principal's office for this." he told her.

"What!?" one of them exclaimed.

"The hell does THAT mean!?" they asked her.

"It means you should get him to the nurse, before things get a lot worse for him." Luke replied.

They growled at the draydins, before all three of them got up and ran off.

"You haven't heard the last of this!" one of them yelled back.

"...they're right." Luke sighed.

Luke was silent, and just nodded.

"Yeah." he replied.

"I'm ok." he said.

She then heard the guy she hit collapse to his knees.

"Hey!" one of his cohorts exclaimed.

"What's wrong with you!?" they asked.

He promptly responded by violently vomiting on the ground in front of him.

The boy just growled.

"Listen here..." he said, grabbing HER by her collar.

"I'm gettin' REAL sick of you people-" he started to say further, before he suddenly paused.

"..." he was silent, before his grip loosened, and he grasped at the side of his head.

"OooOooh... woah..." he gurgled.

The one holding Luke dropped the draydin, and Luke brought his hands up to where they had collided.

"Ow.." he mumbled, as the older kid turned around.

"Hey." he said.

"You. Screw off." he told her.

"This ain't none of your business." he said further.

"This is between us and the flower wimp."

When she got close, she heard various generic things.

Things like 'weirdo' and 'quiet' and 'wuss' and all that. However, she also heard them insult their family and such, which seemed to rile Luke up.

"Hey! Sh-shut up!" he sputtered.

The leader of the gang responded to this by yanking Luke up by his collar and slamming him against the tree.

"Let's put you in stitches." he snarled.

She looked in the distance, and saw her brother sitting under a tree.

Ever since the incident with the plant at the house, he'd become more reserved and studious, and took mistakes very seriously. As such, he'd become quite shy and meek.

He was currently just twirling some grass in his hand, when a group of older kids approached.

Anna couldn't hear what they were saying... but it was clear that they were beginning to antagonize him.

Luke watched her go, and sighed.

"...maybe I should go to the bedroom." he muttered.

He then noticed that there were two bedrooms... and one of them had two smaller beds, while one had a larger one. He could guess which room was meant for whom, so he went into the one with the two beds and shut the door.

Once he was in the room, he went to one of the desks, and continued reading.

"I did bad things." he said to himself.

"Because I didn't read this, I did bad things. So I will read this and not have any reward while here."

"To read." Luke replied.

"I did bad things with my mana because I didn't read this." he said.

"So I'm reading it now." he told her.

"I'll read it while here, even if I have to start over when we're home." he went on.

"I can go into one of the rooms if you want." he then offered.

"So you don't have to see me or anything." he added.
