Luke slipped over towards Kelly, as Ash used a knife to tear open the wrapping, and opened the box.

As soon as he looked inside, she saw Luke tense up to the point of being completely stiff.

"......." Ash was silent for a moment, before clearing his throat.

"Hm." he muttered.

"Mmmm..." he mumbled, before starting to chuckle.

"I'm flattered." he said, not looking away.

"But I'm afraid Ashley beat you to the punch a VERY long time ago." he laughed.

"Yeah, I figured." Ash responded.

"........hm." he then mumbled.

"Well, whatever, I'm coming with." he told her.

With that, the two of them made their way up, with Ash suddenly shifting attitude along the way. When they made his to Luke, he just crossed his arms over his chest.

"That it?" he asked, pointing to the box.

"Y-y-yes." Luke stammered, obviously intimidated.

"Move." Ash told him.

"Time to see if my daughter's succeeding in making you any less of a failure in the kitchen." he said further, making his way over quickly, with Luke scrambling out of the way.

"Panic?" Ash asked.

"Huh. Didn't think it'd be THAT extreme." he said.

"He doesn't know it's ME, right?" he then asked.

Kelly just nodded.

"Then panic's a weird extreme to go to." he went on.

"Oh well, pondering stuff is your Uncle's thing." he reasoned, as he made his way over.

"Let's see if you're gonna earn what I promised you."

The one she was talking to, her father, looked at her, and nodded.

"All righty then." he said.

"Time to judge this final exam of his." he commented.

"So." he then said further.

"How'd he react to hearing that YOU'RE not judging him?" he asked her.

Luke just nodded quickly.

"Right." he said.

"I'm going to the kitchen then." he told her.

With that, he quickly left, and made his way to the room in question. Once there, he set the wrapped box down, and started to sweat heavily.

"Oh, man..." he muttered.

"This could be a disaster." he said.

"But... well... in for a penny, in for a pound. I suppose this will be interesting..."

Luke's face reddened when she said that.

"I.." he stammered.

"I... I... I..." he stuttered further, before shaking his head.

"Eh... eh-heh..." he chuckled nervously.

"Right." he said.

"You said the den?" he asked.

"I'll... I'll make my way there now." he told her.

Luke thought for a moment, and sighed.

"A problem?" he asked.

"Er.... hopefully not." he told her.

"Also.... question..." he then said.

"What did you mean by you 'like me too much'?" he asked her.

"Like, you can't be impartial here?" he asked further.

Luke was silent for a moment, and swallowed a lump in his throat.

"Uh...." he mumbled.

"Maybe....?" he said confusedly.

"It... depends on who the judge is going to be." he admitted.

"Who is it?" he asked.

"Or is this a surprise judge all the way?"

Luke froze when he heard that.

"....wh-wh-what?" he asked.

"J-judge?" he asked her.

"You're not the one that's going to be trying it?" he asked further.

Beads of sweat started to form on his brow, and he looked to the package he had, sensing that things... could potentially get awkward now.

"Well, it's 4:00." Luke said.

"Sorry, but I finished my... 'final exam', I guess you could call it." he told her.

"And I wanted to bring it here while it was still fresh." he reasoned.

'And while I had the nerve.' he thought.

".....right." Luke muttered.

"Thanks." he said.

He then excused himself, made his way through the manor, and downstairs to where Kelly's bedroom was.

Once at the door, he took another breath, and exhaled it.

'Here goes.' he thought.

He then knocked on the door.

Luke's eyes became as wide as saucers, and his face turned beet red for a second, before he shook his head violently, and smacked himself a could of times.

"Wh-wh-wh-what??" he stammered.

"Wh-what do you mean? What are you talking about?" he asked.

"She... she asked me to make something before coming here, and would judge it." he said.

"That's all!" he insisted, his face still on the red side.

"....and I worked really hard on it..." he then mumbled sheepishly.

"Hey Sam." Luke replied, stepping inside.

"Yeah, I wanna talk to Kelly." he told her.

"And downstairs? Cool." he said, as he smiled softly.

He then took a deep breath, and exhaled it slowly, holding a wrapped box in his hands.

"So how have you been?" he asked.

"Whatcha been up to?"

".....hm." Andrew muttered.

"I suppose so." he said.

"Well, at any rate, she's doing wonders for his cooking." he added, before they went back to doing what they were doing.

Meanwhile, Luke had appeared at the front door of the Fyrane manor, and gulped audibly.

He then gathered his courage, and rang the doorbell.
