Adym nodded in response.

"Yeah." he replied.

"Back in a bit." he told them.

Hal then got someone to escort Adym up to the roof, parting ways when they reached the location, and Adym paused when he saw what he did... saw the woman before him. He felt a mixture of awe, reverence, and horror... as he saw the damage that had been dealt to her already.

"..." he was silent, before approaching her, clearing his throat lightly, unsure as to what to say here.

Adym looked at Lyrei and Callie for a moment, before sighing, and nodding.

"Right." he said.

"I can try and help, I guess." he admitted.

"But DON'T leave here without me." he warned them.

"I came here to help take down Vyran, and that is what I intend to do!" he declared.

"...make all the plans you want, obviously, but I AM coming with you." he insisted, before looking out the door.

"Do you need a guide to the roof?" Hal asked.

"...maybe." Adym admitted. "I can sense her, but... I don't know the building..." he admitted further.

"Uh... Adymir Farwyn." Adym managed to introduce himself, before Hal cleared his throat at Callie's question.

"Please, take a seat." he offered them. When they did, albeit with Callie doing so in a rushed and unimpressed way, Hal began.

"I will make a long story short." he said. "For starters, if there are any terms or words that you don't-" he started to say further, before Callie interrupted him.

"I speak the lingo. Get on with it." she told him, again with mostly concern in her tone.

"...very well." Hal responded.

"Ciroc Icesska is currently being held in a place called Stonehenge by this Vyran person." he told them. "Vyran had managed to absorb what we call a nexus here, and he currently has a LOT of power inside him." he warned.

"However, he's extremely vulnerable right now, what with JUST having done so." Azazel chimed in.

"Indeed." Hal confirmed. "We are mounting a rescue team, as well as a plan of attack, to storm the area as best we can, rescue Icesska, and stop Vyran from locating OTHER nexuses, absorbing them, becoming even more frighteningly powerful, and dooming this world to wither and rot." he told them further.

"We currently have an avatar of our planet on the roof of this building, and already several of her vines and leaves have shriveled and withered." he then lamented.

Savra was shocked by the sudden display of emotion and affection, but returned the hug and held Eke close.

"You're welcome." they said.

"As I said, I'll tell you all I can remember." they went on.

"..." they were then silent, before looking around.

"Do... you want me to start HERE, or wait until we're back at the vehicle?" they asked.

Savra looked at the shoes, before looking at Eke, and nodding.

"Yes." they replied.

"I did." they confirmed.

"..." they were then silent, before looking away slightly, thinking about something.

"I'll tell you everything I know about him." they then said, looking back at Eke.

"...well... all I can remember, at any rate."

Adym looked at Callie, then to Lyrei, and nodded slightly.

"Let's go." he agreed.

The three of them made their way back to where Hal and co were, and Adym froze for a moment when he noticed Vanessa.

"I..." he stammered.

"I'm surprised to find a dark elf in this world." he admitted.

Adym winced when the runes were traced onto the back of his hand, but after a minute or so, he seemed to calm down.

"...well, that should help." he said.

"At least we'll be able to communicate with the denizens of this world." he reasoned. "Well... I will be, anyway. I needed the help." he then clarified.

"But can we get more information?" he asked Lyrei.

"Seriously, what's happening right now?" he asked further.

"Or who can we go to for more comprehensive info on this?"

"...." he was silent, before shaking his head, his hair moving slightly, revealing his elven ears.

"Right." he said.

"Okay then. Cool." he said further.

"What's the situation?" he asked.

"The missive mentioned Callie's father, as well as Vyran, but the details were sparse. And you mentioned time was precious." he added.

"So what's the deal right now?"

"..." both Azazel and Hal were silent for a moment, before the latter pinched the bridge of his nose.

"...fair enough." was all he said.

Meanwhile, Lyrei wasn't waiting for very long at all... maybe about 8 minutes or so... before she saw what she could only describe as a tear in the fabric of reality form before her, and female individual came through.

Followed immediately by a male.

"All right, where ARE we?" the male asked immediately.

Upon hearing this, both Hal and Azazel's expressions were immediately pointed and enraged. They said nothing, though. Not immediately. They knew that she was looking to get animated reactions out of them, and they would NOT grant her that satisfaction.

"...thank you for telling us that." Azazel said.

"The fact that you've done so means you see her as no longer useful to you, I am assuming." Hal then commented.

"That, or you don't want to wrest control of her back from Vyran." he said further.

Hal did not look impressed.

"Damn it." he cursed.

"I had a feeling his loose lips would sink this ship someday." he growled.

Azazel just sighed quietly.

"Wonderful..." he mumbled.

"Just... great." he muttered, shaking his head and looking at Vanessa.

"I'd say that's clever... because it really IS... but it's Samuel. Just... he's... ugh." he finished.

"...." Hal was silent as he heard that.

"And, knowing you, had none of this happened, you would be trying to abduct her and use her." he then said.

"It's frightening just how much you... know..." he went on, trailing off a little.

"I'm willing to bet you have informants in my Unit." he commented.

"Don't be so surprised." Azazel responded. "I'm willing to bet she has... or had, at least... ears and eyes in EVERY aspect of the world, and its organizations." he told Hal.

"Wouldn't be surprised if her tendrils extended to the Triad and Council."

Savra's eyes widened when they heard that.

"Oh... oh my..." they said.

They then looked ready to bow right there on the spot, but Eke could see that they stopped themselves. They knew Eke hated that, so they stopped their reflex to show their immense respect and submissiveness.

"I should have known." they then said further.

"You DO resemble your father."

Hal narrowed his eyes at Vanessa when she said what she did with her laugh.

"...I'll bet you're not." he said.

"I saw how you looked at Erica when she mentioned the runestones." he went on.

"But I didn't say anything because of our truce." he reasoned.

"Regardless, I'm willing to bet you know a lot more about Erica than you're letting on."
