They only fall... a-part.
Can it be.. undone?

"...." Hal was silent as he heard that.

"Had his way with?" he asked.

"...can you please clarify?" he asked her.

"See... that phrase means something... quite nasty here." he told her further.

Ciroc was silent as well, before shaking his head.

"I'm pretty sure she means anyone Vyran may have tweaked or messed with, in terms of their minds." he said.

"Is there any way we can aid you?" Hal asked her.

"If Vyran is here, then we are just as invested in locating him as YOU are." he reasoned.

Ciroc just sighed quietly.

"We may need all the help we can get." he told Lyrei.

"And we should probably do it soon." he said further.

'...I wonder if Vyran's realised what I have...?' he then thought, looking at his bracelet again.

Ciroc was silent for a moment, before showing her his bracelet.

"This." he said.

"The magic kept outpouring from my body, causing others to lose control of their magic. Or mana." he told her.

"So this keeps that in check, allowing me to safely mingle with others." he went on.

"Our research and development department made it for him." Hal interjected.

"Not bad for short notice." he chuckled.

Hal just sighed.

"I see." he said.

"As regrettable as Vyran's existence is, he is a crux, and is needed in our world." Ciroc told him.

"Or... well, he needs to DIE in our world, so that his magic can be reincarnated." he then clarified. "For a VERY simplified explanation." he said further, before pondering something.

"You seem as though something's on your mind." Hal commented.

"I'm working something out in my mind." Ciroc responded.

"Damn it." Ciroc cursed.

"We need to find a way to locate him, and then we need to devise a plan of attack." he said further.

"Something tells me that's easier said than done." Hal commented.

"...it really is." Ciroc lamented.

"Perhaps we can use our tech to try and locate him, somehow..." Hal then said.

"As rich in mana as this world is, we DO have pretty advanced technology." he reasoned.

Upon hearing this, she saw the colour drain from Ciroc's face.

"....what?" he muttered.

"He's... he's HERE? In THIS world!?" he exclaimed.

He then looked at Hal, his expression concerned and panicked.

"You have some VERY big problems now, agent Sharp." he told him.

"...from what you've told me, that is an accurate statement." Hal responded.

"Curses." Ciroc then growled through gritted teeth.

Hal raised an eyebrow again.

"Protecting himself?" he asked.

"And he doesn't want you to find him?" he asked further.

"No!" Ciroc immediately interjected.

"No, that is NOT it in the slightest." he told them.

"I want nothing more than to return home."

Hal raised an eyebrow.

"Cici?" he asked.

"...her nickname for me..." Ciroc responded quietly, and with a degree of sheepishness to it.

Hal sensed this, before just smirking lightly.

"Heh. Fair enough, then." he chuckled.

"Well, welcome to our world." he then said to Lyrei.

"How should I address YOU?" he asked her.

Hal was silent as she spoke, before nodding.

"I see." he responded.

"Well, then that begs another question." he told her.

"Where were you TRYING to get to, and do you know WHY you were repelled?" he asked her.

As he spoke, she could tell that he was less than impressed with how she had set off the alarms in the building, however, she could also see that he didn't blame her for it, and that he was grateful to have someone there that knew Ciroc.

Overall, she could see he was a very patient and understanding man.

Hal had been waiting patiently, as Ciroc had told him that she needed to do a little something to properly communicate with him. When she spoke, he nodded silently, before clearing his throat.

"Hello." he greeted her again.

"I am Hal Sharp, the one in charge here." he said.

"So you are an acquaintance of Mr. Icesska here?" he then asked her.

"Is that why you are here?"

Ciroc nodded, and they all started to head towards Hal's office, with the security in the lead. The man then sighed, and thought about it.

"Well..." he mumbled.

"The language is English." he told her.

He then started to tell her about the English alphabet, and various basic things about it. But mostly, how the alphabet here correlated to the one back in Adaminia, as best as he could.

Overall, it was... truncated and a bit on the vague side, but Lyrei was starting to understand a little of it, at least.

"Hopefully that's enough to allow you to translate the language here and speak it." he finished, as they reached the receptionist.

Ciroc sighed again, before the one that had radioed Hal spoke.

"Agent Sharp wants to speak to the both of you." they told Ciroc.

Ciroc nodded in response, and looked at Lyrei.

"The one that's in charge here wants to speak with the two of us." he told her. "We should go and talk to him. It will look good, and you might be able to learn the language here." he reasoned.

"So let's go." he finished.

Ciroc just sighed, and exited the room.

"Please." he said.

"It's all right." he told them.

"She's a friend of mine. She means no harm, I promise." he went on.

They were silent for a moment, before seemingly standing down.

"...all right." one said, before starting to radio Hal the information.

"Well, THIS is a bit of a mess." Ciroc sighed.

No sooner had she stepped out of the room, had a group of 5 people ran up towards her.

"HALT!" one ordered her.

"STAY WHERE YOU ARE!" another shouted, as the 'leader' stepped forward.

"State your name and purpose, immediately." they told her. "You are here unauthorised, and unless you can tell us who you are, why you're here, and HOW you got in here, we WILL use force." they warned.

"So... speak." they finished.
