Ty paused for a moment when she said the last part, and smiled slightly.

"Well then. I suppose you should eat." he told her.

"If you like, I can get you something from the cafeteria while you speak with Sharp." he offered.

"Just tell me what you would like. What you would prefer." he continued.

"Our cafeteria has a good selection, but you probably already know that." he then added.

"...that IS concerning." Ty admitted.

"Extremely so." he went on.

"And you're a reaper. Were a reaper. Whatever." he then said. "For you to be alive would bring... complications... to the world. If it's not just you." he continued, pausing for a moment.

"If this is an isolated incident, then it's still concerning. Just... a bit less so." he said further.

"How are you feeling?" he asked. "Aside from 'alive and confused'." he clarified. "Do you feel like anything is off or different, or do you feel... well... like you did when you were alive previously?"

"...woke up?" Ty asked.

"I don't like the sound of that." he said.

"It actually sounds like there's a bit of a problem going on." he continued.

"...then again, why else would you be here?" he then asked rhetorically with a sigh.

"Oh well, I just hope we're able to help."

The door shut behind her, and Ty nodded.

"Of course." he responded.

"I can't say no to a lady." he told her with a small smile.

"...obvious question." he then said as they walked.

"Why are you coming to us? And in this way?" he asked her.

"Can't you just appear before Sharp?"

Ty was silent for a moment, and then nodded.

"Yeah." he said.

"I'd know that scarf and its movement anywhere." he told Jake.

"It's unmistakable. That's Madison." he confirmed.

"All right." Jake then said.

"In ya go." he told the woman.

Jake just sighed.

"I agree." he said.

"But hey. This is where my heart is. This is home." he shrugged.

It was at that point, Ty stepped into the area.

"Hey, what's-" he started to ask, before pausing abruptly.

".....Madison?"

"...yeah, sounds like him." Jake sighed, before pressing the intercom button.

"Agent King to security check. Agent King, security check." he said.

"And Kiczys..." he then mumbled, releasing the button.

"Oh!" he exclaimed.

"Related to Casey Kiczys and HER son." he guessed.

"She's been here a few times to spruce up this place with art, and I think Evan's been looking for work in this city, and has been here a few times to use some of the resources and tools we offer." he went on.

"Or to visit Kiah." he added at the end.

Jake's tongue darted out from his mouth, and she saw his confused expression.

"...ah..." he stammered.

"All right, your mana seems familiar... vaguely... from that one encounter... but it also seems like it's radically different at the same time... but also, it feels so very familiar for reasons I can't explain." he went on, unaware he was smelling the familiarity for when Casey had been there a few times in the past, as well as Evan, once or twice.

"Normally we require I.D. for this, but... I..." he then stammered further.

"is there anyone here that you think could identify you definitively?" he asked.

"Because if so, I can get them here to confirm who you are, and you can go with them." he said.

"Unless you DO happen to have I.D."

Jake paused as he looked from his paper to her.

"..." he was silent, narrowing his eyes a little, before they widened.

"You... when I was dying the one time, you stepped in to tell that reaper guy to stop being an asshole and making me think it was my time." he remembered.

She remembered it, too. Gregory decided to have a bit of fun with Jake when a mission went sour, but she stepped in and gave the reaper a small scolding.

"...he IS in, yes." he then said.

"Why are you going through ME?" he asked.

Vincent watched her go, and sighed.

"...Madison." he then mumbled.

"Where ARE you?" he asked.

"WHAT is going on?" he wondered further, not even knowing how to begin to track her or try and find her.

"I know." Vincent said grimly.

"If this continues, then the world itself will be thrown into literal chaos." he said.

"It will be a domino effect. Slow to start, but it will get bigger extremely rapidly." he went on.

"...damn it." he then cursed, shaking his head.

"Just... damn it."

Vincent was silent, before nodding.

"...you do that." he said.

"This... this isn't good." he repeated.

"The natural balance has been thrown off." he said further.

"This will cause chaos."

Ryker just sighed.

"It's true. You've been dealt a rather unfair lot in life." he said.

"But everyone leaves everyone else at some time." he told him. "Nothing lasts forever. Not even me. Not really." he continued.

"At some point in the very near future, my soul is going to actually mesh with the demon's, and we'll need to start the retaking of his kingdom, his realm. And that will take an unfathomable amount of time." he went on.

"However, I think the trick is to stop looking at the bigger picture sometimes. Ignore the forest, and look at the trees." he then told Eke. "However brief it might be, make sure your presence made the lives of everyone you touched better." he said.

"I remember, a long time ago, when I was younger, I was told something. I didn't understand it then, thought it was pointless, worthless talk. But I think I get it now." he suddenly said further.

"It was 'Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.'..."

Not surprised. was the response she got.

Vincent then made his way down to where she was.

"It failed." he said.

"I can't summon her." he said further.

"This isn't good."
