Zeke looked at the sword, and scratched at his head.

"...odd." he muttered.

"Why would it...?" he started to ask, before he paused, his eyes widening.

"It's pointing to what completes it." he realised and vocalised.

"...the scabbard." he told her.

"It's here somewhere. It's close."

"...gimme a second!" she heard him call back.

"Almost done, here!" he added.

As he said this, the blade continued to point in that one direction. It was no longer spinning, but still vibrating and glowing, and she could feel the heat coming off of it.

After a few more seconds, she heard Zeke returning.

"All right, all right." he said.

"What's up?"

She also noticed something else... the blade was moving. Not as in moving away from her, it was just... moving. Shaking. Lightly quivering. Almost as though a magnet were pulling at it, but it was too weak to actually move the thing.

However, she noticed the sword had spun a little, and the blade was pointing in a very specific direction towards a thick part of the woods.

And it wouldn't stop.

The warmth wasn't getting any weaker, nor was it getting any stronger.

It was just... there.

"..." Azari was silent again, before sighing heavily.

"Fine." he said.

"Guess we're going northwest." he told her.

"You first." he ordered.

"You're the one that seems to have some vague clue as to where we're going." he growled.

"And this had better be worth it." he went on.

"It won't be good for either of us to return to Madam empty-handed."

Azari paused when she said what she did, his eyes lighting up.

"....FINALLY." he groaned.

"All these wild goose chases and falsehoods." he went on.

"It was so bothersome to kill people that got too nosey about us." he grumbled further, showing no remorse.

"Where?" he asked.

"What direction?"

He looked over everything within it, before looking back to her and nodding.

"Of course, Madam." he replied.

He then excused himself, and left.

It seemed like things weren't ALL bad right now. Sure, earlier, there had been the mishap, but this piece of info was big.

VERY big.

She'd been waiting a while for that scabbard to finally come to life.

And now... excalibur was ever-so-close to being in her possession. Even if by proxy.

He paused for another moment.

All they knew was a vague area. And he'd told her that. And her she was, making that 'request'. Which meant she expected him to leave, and not return unless it was with the sword and wielder.

"...yes, Madam." he replied.

"I shall leave immediately." he told her.

"I will need to take the wizard with me, of course." he then added.

He flinched ever-so-slightly when she said the last word. However, he knew that the longer he was silent, the worse it would be. So he steeled his nerves and quietly cleared his throat.

"Caelia spoke to me." he told her.

He then paused for another moment, mentally preparing his next statement.

She needed to be told all the info as quickly as possible, without wasting ANY of her time. More than he already might be.

"The scabbard has been activated." he revealed.

"She says middle North America."

"....hm. I see." he responded.

He then sighed, and shook his head.

"Well, I'm going to tell Madam." he told her.

"Go back to what you were doing. I'll call for you if need be." he said.

With that, he made his way to where the one he was referring to was, pausing at the door for a second, before knocking.

"...hmph." he muttered.

"Looks like mistress acquiring you wasn't a total waste after all." he said.

"...she needs to be told about this." he went on, seemingly just realising it.

'...though bothering her with JUST this information may be foolish...' he then thought.

"Do you have more information?" he asked. "Or merely that the sword has a wielder once more?"

There was silence again for a moment, before the door was swung open.

"WHA-" a male elf started to yell, before seeing who was there.

"Oh." he said.

"You." he muttered.

"Well, what is it?" he asked her.

"It had BETTER be good." he then warned.

Zeke crossed his arms over his chest for a moment.

"Pocket realms freak me out." he admitted.

"Perhaps the Remmington Manor might be best." he then said. "From what I've heard, they have really good protections put up, so we should be able to spar with impunity, and if something goes wrong, we won't be alone in a pocket dimension." he muttered.

"So if you can set that up, go for it." he told her.

"And tell me when you can train."

Zeke pondered for a moment, thinking about what she said.

"For starters, we can take you to Mira." he told her.

"She has a leatherworking assistant that makes sheaths and scabbards and such for her weapons." he said. "So I'm sure they'll have something for you to use." he assured her.

"Secondly, yeah, sure." he then said.

"What you've got looks pretty close to the sword that I use." he shrugged.

"Just need to find a place where we have room to swing swords around."

Zeke was silent for a moment.

"...it has a scabbard." he said.

"I know it does. I was told it does." he went on.

"But if it wasn't with the sword... where IS it...?" he then wondered.

"I mean, I can probably find something else to put it in, but... it won't be optimal." he warned her.

"I think its true power is unleashed when the two are together."
